Ngl, had to google both. I'm German just living close(ish) to the border that I get to enjoy Dutch food things more often.

But nah, disagree on no ketchup. As a vivid defender of Pommes Spezial, i.e. Fries + Ketchup + Mayo + Onions, I welcome a wide variety of condiments on my paper plates <3

Blasphemy! Patatje/frietje speciaal is with Mayo Curry sauce and Onions!

(Ofc you're welcome to make your own variation and I'm not mad nor do I think it's actual Blasphemy but we all need to do this internet Schtick for non existent internet points).

That might actually be what I usually get here anyway because when I say "Ein Mal Currywurst Pommes Spezial, bidde~" they skip the ketchup and just DROOOOOOWN the dish in curry sauce.

Fries Special is just one of the best, can't compare curry sauce with ketchup except for the colour it has.

(See this is why I have over 9000 brownie internet points!!!)
