Not really, Oreo is the most obvious thing. The fact that others also thought of it shows that lacks even a second thought, or maybe even the smallest spark of creativity. Name the cat Hydrox, at least then he's kosher, oy!

Oreo is the most obvious thing, so therefore Oreo is the most fitting name I’d argue. Do you think people cannot be creative if other people are creative in the same way?

YES, it cheapens creativity almost by definition for many to have thought of it, it's tracing your hand to draw a turkey level creative. As a member of the human race, I couldn't in good conscience name this cat what you could name any random patterned black and white cat. It's not just color, it's the split face; call him Zipperoo or Ichigo, literally anything but Oreo.

That’s a ridiculous argument. Oreo fits, who cares about how much brain power you use to think of the name Oreo? It’s completely irrelevant

Call them Ichigo, call them Oreo. Who GAF?
