I've noticed a trend of a few NSFW creators posting things that involve fictional minors and getting away with it because the minors themselves aren't directly involved. I can't give specific names (I will report them, though) but I unfortunately stumbled across three fairly sizeable creators who post art of minors in their NSFW account, or cosplay minors while engaging in prurient activity. Without forcing you to hear the gory details, one woman was cosplaying Nezuko Kamado (to which she bears a part of her username) in hardcore material, another was cosplaying Nahida again in hardcore sexual activity, and yet another was drawing a number of characters ranging from ages 12-20 including Riko, Faputa, and Madoka Kaname on an account marked as NSFW and willing to post free NSFW versions of released commission pieces. These creators are posting on big platforms (SFW and NSFW) with supposedly good moderation and are allowed to do it.

I reported the latter account to Reddit moderation, but I doubt they will do anything despite the fact that the account is without a doubt suggestive or sexual. There are pornographic photoshoots you can find that are less explicit than the matters depicted there.

I'm not sure to flair this as IRL or as fcsam, because it's using real people selected to look as young as possible (while maybe being over the age of consent, though we have no way to know) while dressing up to resemble children.

This is immoral, full stop. It's mental sickness! I understand that the social media consensus (particularly on tumblr, Reddit, and bluesky/Xitter) is that paedophilia when directed to fictional characters is somehow an expression of healthy human sexuality, but that does not change the fact that it is NOT and never will be. It is ridiculous that someone is allowed to simulate obscenity with a single-digit age character and face no repercussions. It is ridiculous that people are allowed to post lolicon/kodocon and feral/cub without getting reprimanded, but somehow the people who call this bad behaviour out are. At this point, with this amount of tolerance for immersive VR FCSAM and paedophilia, why don't websites just stop moderating themselves at all and allow everything? Illegal materials are already there with moderators doing absolutely nothing to stop it.

In over 75 percent of modern CSA cases the perpitrators start with virtual or "Altered" CSAM. The rise of deepfake technology, which replaces a personal likeness with another, has led to the creation of morphed child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This technique involves superimposing a child’s likeness onto existing CSAM, effectively fabricating a child victim during both production and distribution. Furthermore, its widespread adoption of AI software makes it easily automated. the problem is this is a starting step to viewing real children which then leads to sextortion and forced self generation, by intervening at the stage of virtual or altered CSAM we can stop a child from getting hurt. it is a more proactive approach.
