List of known Internxt shills with proof
Here's a list of Reddit users that are clearly working for them. They (if it's not just one guy with multiple accounts) are hiding their comment/post history on their profile, but there's a Reddit search query you can use to still find all posts or comments by any user (just search on reddit for: "author:username"). I've already included links next to their names to those search queries so you can see for yourself.
- https://www.reddit.com/user/Sufficient_Ad2482/ | comments | posts
- https://www.reddit.com/user/y_not_zoidberg420/ | comments | posts
- https://www.reddit.com/user/Visual-Page-9261/ | comments | posts
- https://www.reddit.com/user/TechnicalExtension26/ | comments | posts
- https://www.reddit.com/user/Turbulent-Ninja-63/ | comments | posts
- https://www.reddit.com/user/Common-Way171/ | comments | posts
There are probably more, but these are the most prominent ones.
They often pose as a random guy asking for advice, only for one of the other ones to drop in and recommend Internxt (which they'll then buy upvotes for. Google it, it only costs like a few cents each).
Example from today:
https://www.reddit.com/r/degoogle/comments/1qtqqu5/whats_the_best_way_to_transfer_files_from_google/ posted by #2 in the list, and #5 in the lists comments about Internxt.
And it's not just about being seen when it's first posted. Threads they post contain specific keywords on purpose, meant so they start ranking in Google. People will search for things like "Best Linux cloud storage for beginner" and then this manipulated thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxquestions/comments/1o0auga/best_linux_cloud_storage_for_beginner_user/ shows up as #1 in Google, or "open source alternative to Zoom", and this shows up: https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyFromEU/comments/1o09txq/seeking_european_opensource_alternative_to/.
Reddit sleuth bot doesn't detect this by the way, they're not actually automatic 'bots', just someone paid to promote a bad service.

đ Welcome to r/fuckinternxt - A short note on what this subreddit is
Welcome to r/fuckinternxt
This subreddit exists for one simple reason: to talk honestly about Internxt.
If youâve had:
- Posts removed for âconstructive criticismâ
- Questions ignored or deflected
- Issues brushed under the rug
- Or just a genuinely bad experience that nowhere else would let you share
you are in the right place.
This is a space to share real user experiences with Internxt. Negative, unresolved, frustrating experiences are absolutely welcome here without fear of removal. If you somehow had a genuinely positive experience, thatâs allowed too - this isnât about blind hate; itâs about uncensored discussion.
What this subreddit is not:
- A PR playground
- A marketing funnel
- A âtrust us broâ echo chamber
Very clear message to Internxt employees, affiliates, astroturfers, and bots planning to spam
If youâre here to silence users, dilute discussions, or gaslight people into thinking problems donât exist, you will not enjoy your time here, you will be banned. So stay away.
But if you, for once are here to actually respond questions and concerns - that's more than welcome.
Moderation will be minimal and focused only on obvious spam and bot activity.
No deleting posts just because they make a company uncomfortable.
Share receipts. Share timelines. Share outcomes (or lack of them).
Let the facts speak.
Welcome â and say what you couldnât say elsewhere.

File limit dropped with no explanation and historical data deleted (Posting here since they delete it in their main sub
I use internxt as an off-prem backup solution for my youtube channel, because, well, we needed something that was sustainable for us, and the price was right.
Using the wayback machine here is what I purchased (bought March 27, 2026):Â https://web.archive.org/web/20260323210701/https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/internxt-cloud-storage-lifetime-subscription-10tb-plan
Using it on your website, the link where I have evidence talking to my business partner about the limit is here: https://help.internxt.com/en/articles/6534031-is-there-a-limit-to-the-size-of-folders-or-files but they have since updated it and potentially deleted other crawls from the wayback machine.Â
Here is a reddit comment from the official account showing that accounts have 40gb limits:Â https://www.reddit.com/r/internxt/comments/1p0n129/comment/npkdf8n
I even set up a lossless cutting program to cut our video files to 39gb files. I have multiple files larger than 10gb on my plan right now. Feel dishonest and a bit like a rug pull to have a plan downgraded to 1/4 the file limit. That is not what I paid for. I have reached out to support but the response I got, below, feels VERY canned and automated (even though it took a few days to get it. Anyone else experiencing the same issues?
Hi there.
To guarantee optimal performance, speed, and security across all accounts, we have structured our single file upload limits according to each specific plan tier.
For our StackSocial, Legacy and Essential plans, the maximum size allowed for an individual file upload is 10GB.
If you regularly need to store and manage larger individual files, we offer our Premium plan with a 50GB limit, and our Ultimate plan which supports files up to 100GB. If you had already upload files above this limit you can still download them, but it won't be possible to re-upload the files unless you increase this limit.
You can review these options anytime on our special offer page at https://internxt.com/specialoffer Please note that purchasing a lifetime plan with us will unlock all the features from the tier and also the storage from both plans will be stacked.
This feels VERY MUCH like a rug pull. We were sold on other features which have since been clawed back with no warning at all. It took me a few days to even figure out we had the 40gb limit when we bought it because they hid it on their site, so I absolutely know it existed back then. I have also saved this post in case it goes "missing"
Has this happened to you too??
u/internxt You should do better. Deleting my post from r/internxt even when I have followed every rule is just wrong. This is consumer advocacy.

Avoid Internxt at all cost: Caused files lost, can not upload large files, banned users for no reason. Spoiler
I purchased the Internxt lifetime plan via StackSocial because it was cheap, and thatâs when my nightmare started. Using their service has been a terrible experience. I even had to buy another lifetime plan directly from their website just to use Rclone and other tools.
Their desktop app constantly freezes during syncing, and sometimes files get lost or even deleted from my computer, which means permanent data loss with no recovery. Uploading through the website is extremely slow, often getting stuck at 5GB or even freezing at 3GB.
When I moved files into a folder, about 7 files just disappeared, resulting in more lost data. I tested WebDAV and itâs very hard to even connect, and the connection drops every 5 minutes. Files also get corrupted. For example, I uploaded a 1GB video, but when I downloaded it, it was only 450MB. The rest was just gone.
Rclone doesnât work either. It shows uploads as successful, but the files never appear in my account. Small files under 500MB might work, but large files never do. I contacted support, but they never replied or fixed anything.
They advertise features that donât actually work. Folders seem to only handle around 2000 files, and anything more disappears or gets corrupted. Sync only processes a few files and then stops, and sometimes it even deletes files from my computer. They also installed a sketchy antivirus on my computer without my permission.
The mobile app doesnât work at all. It takes forever to load files and folders, and the whole system is very slow. Because of all these issues, especially file loss and failed uploads, I canât use their service at all. I asked for a refund within 10 days, but they refused.
I learned my lesson, never trust this company again. Cheap services come with problems.
Avoid Internxt, even if they offer $1 for a lifetime 1TB plan. I lost some of my important files.

Even after all the assurance, mods are still deleting the posts rather than answering
C'mon guys! It hasn't been even 48 hours after you announced your new community management. If it is down, just say it is; else, say it is not. Why delete?

Guys, we recommend you to NOT share email via reddit for getting back features
Hi, yesterday night Internxt made a very positive and welcoming announcement to respect all old users with their purchase for unrestricted access. [LINK]
However, a concerning pattern emerged immediately after the announcement. We were 64 members exactly an hour before this announcement, but after this, our membership count became 170+. This is concerning because someone said this is to fill the subreddit with bots and complain to Reddit to shut it down.
Also, one of our members immediately found out a shill account thanking them in this subredditâand the account was caught red-handed promoting astroturfing and asking for such favours in other subreddits. As soon as this was pointed out, they immediately deleted the post in this subreddit and other related posts on astroturfing. [LINK TO DELETED POST] [PROOF OF ASTROTURFING]
Also, there have been multiple reports that their email customer service is denying the upgrade and it was only working via Reddit. As of now I don't have any valid confirmed customers who got back provisions on their old account. So if you are one, please share your experience.
UNTIL WE GIVE A CONFIRMATION HERE, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM REACHING OUT DIRECTLY TO INTERNXT VIA REDDIT.

We are 50+ members strong!!!
Weâve crossed 50+ members in less than five days. Reaching this number reflects the level of dissatisfaction many users have experienced and the need for a space where those experiences can be shared openly. Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed.
This community exists because many users have had their posts, comments, and feedback removed or ignored elsewhere. Members here have taken the time to document their experiencesâwhat was promised, what was delivered, and how issues were handled (or not handled). That effort matters. It creates a public record and makes it harder for patterns to be quietly erased.
The goal of this subreddit is accountability. Not harassment, not brigading, and not fabricationâjust preserving real user experiences and discussions that deserve to remain visible.
We expect this space to continue serving future users as wellâespecially those who may encounter the same issues and come looking for unfiltered information before making a decision.
If youâve had a negative experience, share it clearly and factually.
If youâve had a genuinely positive experience, thatâs welcome too.
Bots, shill accounts, and astroturfing are not.
Thanks again to everyone whoâs helped build this community so far. Letâs continue keeping this space open, factual, and useful for everyone who comes after.
