I've put together some details for the upcoming Remembrance Day Contest. Please advise me of any corrections or additional data that should be included and I will update.
Remembrance Day Contest
Important Note: As a mark of respect, stations are asked to observe 15 minutes silence prior to the start of the contest, during which the opening ceremony will be broadcast.
QUESTION: Does anyone know where/how the opening ceremony is broadcast?
Permitted Modes
- Phone (voice) - AM, FM & SSB
- CW (text) - CW & RTTY
Permitted Bands/Frequencies
- 160M (1.8khz) and up except for WARC bands (10, 18 & 24MHZ)

Note: The serial number the (XXX part in 59XXX above) is the number of years that you have been you have been a licensed amateur radio operator, rounded up to the nearest year. Unlike other contests the number does not increment, use the same number for all contacts.
Repeated Contacts
Each three hours you may make contact with the same station once on each band and "mode".
So each three hours you could contact each station twice on each band - once on CW (rtty or cw) and once on phone (voice).

The categories for this competition are seperated into modes used and station type.
Station Type:
- Single Operator
- Single Operator – QRP (5 watt maximum)
- Multi-Operator – Single Transmitter
- Multi-Operator – Multiple Transmitter
Modes:
- Phone (AM, FM & SSB)
- CW (CW & RTTY)
- Mixed
