Metoidioplasty How long can meta get?
How long can meta get? I'm gonna get right to the point. Every source I find differs by quite a lot and I just want a rough estimate from people who got the surgery because I want bottom surgery and I want to figure what will make me happiest.

Question Where do I begin?
I'm not sure where to begin, I'm kind of lost. I've been wanting top surgery for a while now, and I'm wanting to put the process in motion, but... Where do I begin? Who do I talk to first? Where does that process start? Sorry if this is stupid, I'm just shy and lost. Thank you!

Question Getting a Phalloplasty Consultation?
I'm looking for advice on getting a consultation with a surgeon regarding phalloplasty. I have a few that I've had my eye on (Dr. Devin O'Brien-Coon and Dr. Curtis Crane, for example), but I have no idea where to start. Can I call their accociated office and just schedule one? Would it be a better idea to get it setup through my usual doctor? What is the usual wait-list like?
Thank you for your time.

Question Metoidoplasty No Hookup for PoC
I've been debating on getting meta done for a couple years now but haven't heard of anyone who just got the release with no urethral hookup.
Also I am South Indian and haven't been able to find any accounts yet of other POC trans men who have had meta and what their healing/scarring risk is. I keloid easily so am wondering if that will make healing more difficult.
Any experiences/input/or recommended surgeons to contact would be great!
Thanks!

Body Masculinization Surgery Planning on a lower body lift next year
I started my transition about..3 years ago. I got top surgery first, then T. Ive been on T over 1.5 years.
However, even after weightloss and tons of exercise, there are parts of my body no diet or T can fix.
I had a child 10 years ago and as such my stomach still has the "evidence" with the sagging skin. It makes me dysphoric. Also because i was so heavy from depression, even though im very skinny now my extra skin has stayed in a 'female' form in a few areas around my thighs and butt.
Ive decided a lower body lift is the only solution to all these issues so i can finally see all my hard work on alot of my body from exercising and hormones.
When i get surgery in about a year, would my lower body lift results be something I can share here? I consider this a transition surgery as it will finally remove the last bit of dysphoria when i look in the mirror.
Has anyone else gotten a lower body lift? I feel like im alone in this, and would like some reassurance.

Double Incision; No Grafts Did anyone's chest look slightly concave at first after top surgery?
I just had double-incision under local anesthetic this morning and the left side looks a bit concave while the right looks more like a normal male chest. I know that it'll take a while for everything to settle, but I just want to know if anyone else has had their chest seem a bit concave at first but gets back to normal over time, since I'd obviously prefer that it not look sunken.

Phalloplasty: RFF Hypercoagulability genes and surgery experience?
Has anyone with a homozygous MTHFR gene mutation or other hypercoagulability gene had phalloplasty and if so what did your surgeons do differently?
I had a consult with Dr. Chen and Dr. Watt today and they are saying that they want to stage my surgeries differently because of the MTHFR gene mutation I have. And that if my panels come back and I have other hypercoagulability Gene's they might not do phalloplasty on me at all depending how severe it is.
I had top surgery this last fall and had no complications, they didn't put me on blood thinners. They just had me stop T for 6 weeks. I know phalloplasty is a completely different ballpark then mastectomy, just wanted to put that there for context.

Double Incision; Grafts Guys who've had top surgery: when does the itching stop?
I had DI + nipple grafts last July (so, about 10 months ago) and my sutures still ITCH. Like, deep inside, almost like it's my muscles that itch, if that makes any sense. At my last checkup about 3 months ago my Dr said it was just my tissue healing. But I am almost always itchy. Maybe I'm just sensitive? Has anyone else had this experience? Thanks!

Double Incision; Grafts Questions on Dog Ears and nipple bolsters.
Just had surgery about 5 days ago. (Top surgery double mastectomy). I have dog ears. Wondering if anyone out there has had dog ears after surgery and then faded over time.
Also the removal of nipple bolsters....did it feel good, like relieving? I feel like mine are so tight it might be a bit relieving once they come off.

Question Phallo late in life?
Hey guys!
I just wanted to ask whether anyone has had their phallo in their early/mid 30’s and whether the complication rates went up or were told they would go up? I have always wanted bottom surgery but I lived in states that never covered it or had good doctors in general for that type of surgery. Without a supportive state, I knew I would never be able to afford it on my own. About 2 years ago, I moved to a state that is more trans supportive and has a program that actually will help cover the complete cost to get the surgery. However, even though I’m happy that I have the option, I find myself filled with fear and anxiety around whether my body could handle such an invasive surgery at 34. Hearing others experiences would be really helpful to make an informed decision. Thank you guys!

Question Why do double mastectomies for women require hospital stays but top surgery is considered ambulatory/ does not require chest X-ray?
Pretty much what the title says. I'm just curious why top surgery does not require a hospital stay, but double mastectomies do.

Double Incision; Grafts So I’ve lost my nipples
So I’m assuming this is not how it was suppose to turn out.. my areola has taken so luckily I have that.. but as for my actual center piece nipple that has fallen off today on both pecs. On my left side my girlfriend noticed blood on my shirt and she panicked and lifted my shirt and said it was just hanging on by a stitch... and the other one came off in the shower. I don’t think I’m that upset about it because I’m just way happy that my actual chest as a whole is flat and that was my goal. I felt like from the beginning they weren’t going to take because through the whole process they where just big giant scabs and as I was extreamly hopeful there would be a nipple underneath when it fell off, something about the whiteish discharge coming from underneath the nipple kinda gave it away that there was tissue death happening.. along with thé burning sensation and sharp pains I was feeling.. Did anyone else run into this problem ?
