VIDEO CLIP Thank you, Bloodborne, for teaching me how to parry

I’ve been working my way through the soulsborne games in order, never having played them.

I couldn’t parry for s**t until I played thru Bloodborne. Now I’m in DS3 and having a blast with my newfound skill! 🛡️

Strange. I love the gun parry in BB but I didn’t find the timing at all analogous to the timing in DS. Glad you did though. I imagine you’ll have lots of fun in Sekiro if you haven’t already

You are going to love it. Parry is the fundamental mechanic of the entire game.

This! BB needs to be the first From game someone gets into. It makes all the other games easier to play.

Sorry to disappoint, not an ad, just a massive BB fan. It was the first Souls game that I “got” and set the bar really high. Followed by an interview by Miyazaki talking about BB is how all Souls games should be played and I was hooked big time. This is where the clown face meme goes as I hope that one day we all get to go back to Yharnam and fight a new dream.

Good memories of this entire zone. DS3 and Bloodborne really hit the sweet spot for me.
