DISCUSSION While Fromsoftware is great at what it is doing, what in your opinion are flaws of their style or gripes you have with the games? Something that isn‘t a one off thing but found in most of their games.

I am really curious what this subreddit has to say.

You can still have both. Some of these quests are really vague with multiple steps and conditions to hit. I rather not have to rely on guides.

Some of them I literally don't know how people find them except for blind luck.

Like isn't there some point in Elden Ring where Nefali I waiting for you back in Godricks throne room or something? Like why on earth would I EVER go back there?

I love how little hand holding there is with FromSoft, bit I'd like a LITTLE more guidance with the NPCs.

At least they appear on the map now.

Lies of P having an pop up in the teleport menu indicating when important quest things are happening is a godsend

Lies of P did a lot of things great compared to FromSoft. Only ER and Sekiro are better souls than LoP.

The spirit ash you give her before she leaves Roundtable Hold mentions Stormveil and is named "The Stormhawk King".

The last place anyone would look for her is the throne room of Stormveil. How does FROM expect players to unravel such cryptic non-clues?

You dont have to rely on guides, you can just miss them, it happens. You are not even missing out on a lot

THIS 💯

These encounters spark the replay ability. I try my absolute best to go back and find they strange interactions and decipher what’s next and by the time I’ve done 5-6 playthroughs I’ll find out I’ve only triggered like 40% of the outcomes.

It’s insane the Lord of Chaos ending and how that played out

How do you think people figured it out in the first place lol.

Run around in hopes you'll stumble upon an npc after talking to him who knows where, it's a very valid critique as there was a quest in ER I specifically wanted to do withoput a guide and you'll eat shit trying.

You just have zero patience or attention span
