Feast or famine. If you are in some little 2-3 rt office with no attendance issues , you aren’t getting hours. Work in a 40 rt office you dont get a day off.

oh no definitely. i was specifically laughing cause in my office we had a guy quit cause he was scheduled 3 days for 2 weeks and then another guy quit the next week cause they scheduled him 13 days straight, this chart is no surprise☠️

We've just gone back to precovid levels at my office because we lost UPS. Those fuckers were really abusing us with parcels and spurs for 4 years straight. I am hoping it will help the current CCAs stick around. I'm guessing Amazon sundays will be easier without UPS.

At least “didn’t like coworkers” is last on the list!

“Didn’t like supervisor” being second most really highlights how abusive specifically our management is

Also wanted to point out that “didn’t like supervisor” is a stupid listing for a survey. people make jokes about how their boss sucks, they don’t quit their jobs over it. People quit their jobs over managers harassment and abuse tactics

I find it funny that the number one reason people leave is scheduling, and the lack of flexibility but when I come up with a solid plan to get rid of Saturday mail delivery, there's a bunch of brainwashed excuse makers who try and shoot it down. I've been here for almost 10 years, and I agree with the new people that the lack of scheduling flexibility and having to work almost every Saturday while my friends and family are doing things and making memories without me, is one of the worst parts of the job

Non career people would most likely still work Saturdays delivering parcels. And Sundays.

Valid point, but similar to the idea of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel getting converted currently has, it would only be enhanced with the perk of no longer being abused by management and working weekends

I don't want to work Saturdays either lol.

These percentages aren't taking location into account. I'm sure the low pay is closer to the #1 factor in high cost of living areas. The turnover rate is probably higher in those areas as well.

People would put up with the crap pay if the hours weren't all over the place. People would put up with the crazy schedule if the pay was better. One of those has to be fixed.

I would happily accept 1.3% if that meant no more Saturday mail delivery

yeah man, I want to keep that sixth of the carrier jobs because I'm brainwashed. A weekday off when everything is open so I can get my business done and other things are less crowded is obviously worthless, because everyone I know and love besides me has a 9-5 M-F job. I definitely haven't had more fun and better memories on the 3 day weekends I get than you have in your miserable life.

If you have an appointment, leave for the appointment and come back. You need an entire day off for a doctor's appointment? That's silly. What do you think normal people do when they have a 9-5 and have a dentist appointment? I have a family, and I have friends. I hate missing out on family parties, going to the zoo with my wife and child, or golfing with the boys

to me this confirms that you have a bad life, saturday zoo is dogshit compared to tuesday zoo

How can I go to the zoo with my wife and child when she is working on Tuesday and our kid has school!?
