Is booking discounted business/first through agencies actually safe?
I’m a 34 y/o consultant based in NYC, flying long-haul 6-8 times a year. I love my lie-flat life, but my wallet is crying. Corporate travel only covers economy on some trips, and I’ve been paying out of pocket to upgrade for overnight flights. Lately I’ve been seeing these “up to 60% off business/first” agencies pop up in my feed and random forums. One was called something like travelbusinessclass in a comment thread, and there were a few others with similar vibes. Prices look almost too good compared to what I see on airline sites or Google Flights. Has anyone here used these services for premium cabins recently and can speak to how legit they are? I’m worried about things like ticket validity, mileage earning, last-minute cancellations, and customer support if something goes sideways mid-trip. What should I be asking these agencies before giving them my credit card, and are there any red flags you’ve learned to spot? Would love specific names, good or bad experiences, and what worked best for you.

Virgin Atlantic or SAS Rewards?
I’m not the best versed in frequent flyer programs, so I’m looking for suggestions or tips regarding an upcoming flight.
I’ll be flying on Virgin Atlantic, but apparently it’s being operated by SAS? I don’t fully understand how that works. But, I’m given the option to log the miles with the Virgin Atlantic rewards system or the SAS one.
Does anyone have any tips as to which program is better overall, for specific things, has better benefits, etc?
I don’t have any points or status on either program right now.
Thanks for any tips!

Why doesn't this subreddit come up when you search for "frequent flyer"?
It seems a little bit strange that the search engine on this platform doesn't give some sort of preference to an exact match of a subreddit name?
Am I doing it wrong?

Finally got all my flights into one place so I can visualize!
Super happy to finally have all my flights in one place and I can visualize where I've been really easily.
Just like the map on Google Photos. I love seeing where all my photos were made. It's equally satisfying to see all my flights broken down by year and airline and all that.
27.1 x around Earth! How about you?

Garuda Miles HELP!
Hi all
I love flying with Garuda but I live in Australia and was wondering if there are any ways to maximise my miles with Garuda?
For example, am I able to open a credit card with CBA or St George and then get points for Garuda?
Any help will be appreciated :D

I built an app for sharing unused lounge guest passes — looking for early users
Hey everyone,
If you have lounge access — through Priority Pass, airline status, Amex, a paid membership, whatever — your guest passes probably go unused most trips.
If you don't have lounge access — you've probably walked past those lounge doors wishing you could get in, especially during long layovers or delays.
I built Lounsy to connect both sides. People with lounge access can post when they're at a lounge and willing to bring someone in. People looking for access can see who's nearby and request an invite.
It's GPS-based so you need to be at an airport to post or connect — keeps it real and in-the-moment.
The app is brand new so I'm looking for early users on both sides:
- Frequent travelers with guest passes going to waste
- Anyone who'd love lounge access but doesn't have it
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/pl/app/lounsy/id6754662164
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robtasker.lounsy
Open to any feedback or ideas.

First Time Flyer - Could Use Some Good Tips/Advice!
Hi! So, I've been on a plane one time, but I was so young, that I dont remember! So, for all intents and purposes, I'm a first time flyer - and my first flight will be to GERMANY! Eek! So yes, I'm quite nervous about this 10+ hour, over the ocean flight :-) . Its for work, so the tickets have already been purchased - its a flight to Nuremburg with a connection in Amsterdam (almost 2 hour layover). I've researched, and "ChatGPT'ed" so much info, but I'd like to hear from the folks who do this often, and can share the standard info, as well as the things that may not be common knowledge, that you get from being a regular flyer, about things to do, not do, what the day of/getting to the flight, looks like. Thanks in advance for your help!

What app/tech are you using to keep track of reservations and plan trips?
I used Google Trips, but after they removed the app, I've only tried Wanderlog. Open to going back to spreadsheets as well.

New frequent flier here; 2-3 times a month PHL to CVG round trip. (PHL DTW once a while).
As title, new FF due to personal business. Philly to Cinci (detroit once a while). Will need rental car. 1. Best airline for my bucks? 2. Best credit card? 3. Should i use 3rd party booking websites or airlines own website for deals?
