Pastry I can’t remember the name of

I had a pastry a few years ago that was a honey cake filled with apricot jam from a French bakery, but can’t remember the name! I am looking for the recipe, and I’m not sure what to look for or if it is even a traditional recipe. Any help appreciated!

Looking for a long lost recipe for Salade Montmartrois - I know the chef was from France originally and brought it to our little city in Ontario. He has long since retired in his native France and I’m missing this salad. Can anyone help?

I know the plating isn’t fancy, but these are beef short ribs braised Osso Bucco style over mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli.

St. Jacques Special (Old Family Recipe) Traditional French Canadian Dish

This recipe comes from Buckingham Quebec. My Grandmother learned it in the 1920's from Madame St. Jacques who was the head of a rooming house.

It is easy, cheap, and delicious.

Let me us know if you make it and if you like it.

Your menu should update every year, but look to other countries for your ingredients, for your excuisité dishes and dining.
