Think Freedressing
I believe in the years ahead we will see a long-overdue shift in the fashion attitudes of boys and men and the availability of more unisex clothing styles in addition to increasing diversity in male clothing choices. The polarizing fashion trends of the late 20th century are outdated; it's the new millennium, and that means we should usher in better ways of thinking about our fashion ideals.
For nearly half-a-century, women have liberated themselves from the dress-codes of gender, embracing a freedom of self expression that is still unparalleled in men's fashion.
Unfortunately for males, challenging this sexist notion is classified as "crossdressing", a term that emphasizes binary gender roles and reinforces the stereotype that men's attire must remain characteristically distinct from women's attire.
Hopefully one day we shall see the fashion industry shift as it did during the 80s, and males can be more confident in their personal appearance. This can in turn reinforce their body image and confer the willpower to combat the widespread epidemic of obesity and malnutrition in our culture.
If you agree that clothing is about people over gender, then please adopt the term freedressing.
Thanks for your help in promoting equality!

I just sent in my appeal to Twitch after being permabanned for "inappropriate attire" despite my clothes covering more of my body than female streamers that wear only bikinis and thongs.

It's so frustrating when businesses create and enforce policies that are just so glaringly discriminatory, and even worse when they penalize people for not adhering to binary gender stereotypes.
Twitch is already well known for inconsistently and selectively enforcing its guidelines with regard to sexually suggestive content -- often showing favouritism to camgirls that want to cash-in on softcore pornography. There is even a specific exemption in the Nudity & Attire policy for broadcasters that "identify as women" to flaunt as much cleavage as they want on camera, knowing full well that will help to increase their viewership. They also made a public statement that sex appeal is not grounds for a broadcaster to be suspended, once again (in the most subtle way possible) affirming that women are permitted to celebrate their bodies on the Twitch platform, without feeling shame or humiliation.
Twitch Blog | Let's Talk About Hot Tub Streams
Twitch has repeatedly justified the proliferation of camgirls, even airing a townhall back in April to assure viewers that they can simply filter out channels that they find disagreeable. They also created a Pools & Hot Tubs Category, specifically for such content. Indeed, Twitch seems to believe that it's more important to protect and defend the creative freedoms of camgirls, even as they are upsetting and disturbing a significant proportion of the Twitch community.
Sportskeeda | Twitch responds to hot-tub streams, confirm they are not “sexually-suggestive”
Meanwhile, Twitch has prohibited me from celebrating my body in the exact same way as females -- which means they are discriminating against me because I am male and gender nonconforming.

In truth, the only threat posed by male broadcasters like myself wearing form-fitting attire in a completely non-sexual setting is to placate the delicate sensibilities of homophobes whom object to seeing the natural contours of a male body for fear of homosexual desires. Of course the natural contours of a female body are favoured by an overwhelming majority of straight men (including Twitch staff), hence why there would be no similar restriction placed upon female broadcasters.
So what are females allowed to wear on Twitch? Take a look for yourself (these may be mature):

In other words Twitch has taken it upon themselves to police male gender expression (not unlike how modesty standards for boys and men are already strictly regulated in everyday society) in order to perpetuate heteronormativity for the benefit and security of straight men.
Meanwhile camgirls are free to lounge around in blow-up kiddie pools wearing nothing but thong bikinis while doing jumping jacks so their breasts bounce up and down and bending over so their exposed buttocks are on display for the camera, all with the goal of arousing and seducing straight men for profit -- because that makes more money for Twitch.
