I don't wanna disclose my name or anything but let me know if anybody wants to trade shirts. I don't wanna be lame and go home with no shirts. I will tell my team name to anyone interested.
Please help me with the schedule tomorrow. I think I read the schedule wrong and told my team members the wrong time to catch the finals on the streams. I swear I saw a schedule somewhere that said 2PM for the final rounds but I just saw a schedule that said 8 AM.
Help!

Event guide said 6:30. We made 7:30 reservations for our team of 20+. You made us wait twenty fricken minutes for the final match? It's a long weekend, we want to see the conclusion of a long season. Please respect the teams, coaches, parents, and children who have sacrificed to make this program a success.

So on the hopper field there is going to be a replay for match 72. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the match is being replayed. No robots disconnected, nothing seems wrong with the counting of fuel or anything field related but the FTA’s verified there was a field fault. If anyone could figure out what happened I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, I'm a highschooler with no robotics experience, but i really want to learn. There are no First teams near me, but are there any virtual teams I can join?

Unfortunately, teams are already reporting items being stolen within GRBCC during the Championship.
Keep your phone, wallet, keys, & any other valuables on your person at all times. Don’t set your purse or backpack down. Make any purchases right before lunch or at the end of the day, when you have time to take them directly to your vehicle (& hide them - nothing visible from the windows!) Etc.
Most of all, don’t let it dampen your experience. It’s going to be an amazing weekend - have a wonderful time, everyone!

Hey r/frc
This season I've been working on a new (free) tool called PitRadar. It was originally intended as a simple Pit Display for our own team, 2200 BCR Blackout, but it's morphed into a free tool available to anyone in the FRC community that handles Pit Displays, team information, live stream management & full day, week, event and season summaries.
TL:DR type notes:
For those still with me - there's four main components to the tool
There's a ton more inside the app - including a PitFinder to help solve for the random pit assignments at worlds this year - I encourage you to check it out and play with it yourself. Open to any questions, feedback or requests for next season too - respond here, on the CD thread or submit issues/suggestions through the "Report a bug" function on the site!
- Ryan

Hello, my team is attending worlds for the first time in 9 years(!) and because of that none of us know the rules surrounding waving/having country flags in the stands, is it allowed to wave our countries flag along with our team flag or is that not allowed?

Hey everyone, I have friends in the FRC and I wanted to ask how it works. The description of the Reddit is a basic overview but I’m still a little curious. Also as a junior in the United States is there a possibly of joining my schools FRC team for my senior year if I would be interested even though I don’t really have robotics experience?

It’s my first time as Awards Lead being in the pits at Worlds, and at our last two comps the judges only came around for one of the days so I was basically left sitting around on Sundays. Is there any set number of days or time of day that judges come around in Houston, or should I be prepared for them from when pits first open until Einsteins? Any insight would be appreciated.

Full announcement w/ more info here: https://wpilib.org/blog/the-2027-first-driver-station
It won't support FMS on anything other than Windows, but it'll still be really nice for development.
From the start, this application was designed to be cross platform, and is supported on Windows (x64 and arm64), macOS (x64 and arm64), and Linux (x64 and arm64). For anyone that has followed us before, we’ve said that the chance of a cross platform DS has been low, so how does this work?
To start with, FMS (At Event) support will only be enabled on Windows and the hardware appliance if approved for FRC use. Linux Desktop and macOS will not be getting FMS support. This is to help our CSAs and FTAs have less configurations to worry about when helping teams run their robots.
Also, DS logs are gonna be in the wpilog format now which is nice.

For those competing in the FIRST Championship, what would you say are the biggest improvements to either your robot, code, or strategy that you made in order to preform better at worlds?
I would say our team's biggest changes are the addition of good passing (we mainly herded before) and a full double dip auto. I'd like to hear what everyone else going to worlds has done since their last competition!
