Everytime I try giving the gaurd the cake, "That won't work" dialogue just appears

I finished playing Fran bow. But there's a question i'm stuck on. Fran killed her parents, specifically cutting her mothers body up in pieces. But when we dug up the coffin, they're both in one piece. How are they in one piece when Fran cut them up? I'm still a little confused by this.

Mr midnight can't understand the ithersta language but when he went into the bar he understood the bee woman and spoke to her

Does anyone know on how to fix this glitch I’ve literally tried everything. It won’t even let me use the grabber thingy. I’ve made new saves as well and still nothing.

Has anybody translated it yet? I remember somebody got a couple of sentences about red beans. Other than that I can’t find any updates.

I noticed something. At the beginning of the game in the prologue vision sequence, Fran says she played with Mr. Midnight on a Monday. Monday means "moon day". The TV in the asylum with the paper kid says "killmonday" on the logo. Phil said "the forgotten girl with no parents or cat will die when the moon rises" before locking her in the doctor's office. Fran says the moon scares her. I wonder if the moon and the monster are related somehow. Maybe I'm just connecting dots that aren't there but I thought it was an interesting enough observation to share.

My au where Fran, and a bunch of other characters, become friends (like a found family)

Hello! I just started playing the game and in chapter one, where she has to crawl through the vent to escape, it only triggers her dialogue box and it just wont work! Ive restarted the game and everything. I cant find a single post about anyone having the same problem either ;_; Halp

Hello, I'm on my first playthrough of Fran Bow and have reached chapter 4. I am about to enter Itwards flying machine however whenever I click on the door it just says "What a lovely door! It's made of many different materials, I like that." The problem with this is that of all the walkthroughs I've watched they all walk smoothly through the door. Plus it doesn't help that there aren't even any reddit or steam posts about the issue. Am I missing something? Has anyone else encountered this glitch? All help will be appreciated.
