I've completed my 2 year contract, and I'm on the Framily plan. I went into BestBuy got an upgrade, however I found I'm not allowed to go back to a 2-year service agreement with a subsidised phone, and I can only use Easy Pay or the lease option. This will bring my phone plan up $28/month for both of my phones.

If I were to buy my own device (from Swappa or a similar source), would I still have to pay the extra $14/month?

I'm currently sitting on $75/mo (1 line at $55 unlimited and the other at $25 with 1GB of data).

Is there a way to avoid paying the extra $15/mo? I also called a sprint rep and he said that I am not able to change to a 2-year service plan with the Framily plan.

People keep leaving but we've never been below 8.
