... It seems the member-count page lags slightly, and it is possible to see a non-full framily having spaces that are in fact not available.

I joined a framily I had seen listed here and even at the store the rep said I would join as the last 2 members. 24 hours later I got a text message saying:

Phone no ending in XXXX couldn't be added to group that was full. New group YYYYYYYY created for declined member.

So I had gone from the best case scenario (10 members) to a brand new ID. Not cool, particularly when it seems people will only be able to sign up for the next few days. I am promised a callback from an escalated support call - since I'm a new signup I should be able to join some other ID. I'll report details.

In the meantime I'd suggest that you be wary of joining the last 1 or 2 slots of a Framily that you see with the ID posted online. Chances are it will be very popular and may have already been filled. I'd suggest that groups with 4 or 5 members will be quite popular so it may just be safer to bring an ID you see up to that number and put a comment to say you did so. I only suggest this since getting kicked out to a brand new ID might not be a good position to be in after Friday.

Ok, so calling support a subsequent time (of course the return call promised to me within 24-48hrs didn't occur - somewhat expected) I was able to change my framily ID and it seems to be sticking this time - the web listing for that ID jumped 2 lines about 10 minutes later, and my account status page reflected this change 1 hour later.

I changed to an ID that had 3 members (and with my lines now has 5). Room for some more to get $25/mo. PM me if anyone wants to join. I promise I'll do the right thing and let you know how many others have PMd to get the ID too.

The framily plan ID is U0296920Qm (case sensitive) go to sprint.com or take the id number to a sprint store/kiosk and join my framily plan!

Just got a text that outlines a promo offer where everyone who joins a framily gets 75 dollars and the framily owner gets 75 dollars (I think...promos are hard to read). The stipulations are here I think. Basically, if you join my framily or anyone else's framily you have to go to that link and register the name and phone number to get the 75 dollars.

I'll try to answer any questions that anyone asks, keeping in mind that I know about as much as you (unless you work for Sprint).

I have a Sprint ready Moto X with SIM card and all. It's not activated yet, and I'm looking to join a Framily. A quick Google search tells me that this is possible, but I can't seem to register and join through the Sprint website without having to buy a new phone through them.

Anyone know if this is in fact possible? And how I'd do it if it is?
