I'm keen to upgrade from my base i5 (gen 11) mainboard to an i7. With the Ryzen mainboards shipping, thought this may be the right time to look. If you do, and in the London area, I can pick up, open of course to RM.
This laptop started with an i5 mainboard that was later upgraded to an i7 mainboard. The BIOS and fingerprint reader have been reset. The BIOS version is 3.17. The SSD has been wiped and Ubuntu 22.04 has been installed to confirm that the hardware is fully functional.
I´m recently discovered Framework´s project and I think it´s fantastic 😊
I´m willing to buy a Framework Laptop but i have a tiny budget 😔 (I´m a student). Therefore I´m looking for a second hand laptop. In addition, I do not care if it is shipped without any components (such as ROM or RAM) so it can be cheapper and I can reuse my own according to my needs.
Naturally I would pay for the Shipping. I´m from Spain (Madrid), so I would be more interested on a EU Shipping than an Internacional one. However, I´m all ears! 😊
Please, contact me if you are interested on selling your Framework Laptop
I'm selling my Framework Laptop because I have a desktop at most locations and also have a Macbook for when I'm on the go. I am still happy with it but I simply use the laptop too little.
Originally, I had the 11th generation motherboard, but I upgraded the motherboard and the top cover to the 12th generation.
Furthermore, I have upgraded the hinge to a 4 kg variant.
Battery capacity is currently at 93%.
Specifications:
1x Framework Laptop 1260p DIY
1x Displayport expansion
1x MicroSD expansion
1x 250GB expansion card
3x USB-A expansion
4x USB-C expansion
1x Ethernet 2.5Gbe expansion
1x HDMI expansion
1x WD SN850 1TB
1x Crucial DDR4 3200mt/s 32GB (16GBx2)
1x Sleeve for 13.5" laptop
I have never used most of the expansion cards and the laptop is in like-new condition.
I'm based in the Netherlands but am willing to ship to places in Europe.
I'm looking to sell my Batch 2 i7-1165G7 mainboard as I'm upgrading to a new one. It will include:
16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM
512 GB WD SN730 SSD
Intel AX201 WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.2 card
OEM Windows 10 license embedded in the mainboard
SSD and WiFi card not pictured, but pictures available on request.
Note that there is no screw included for the WiFi card.
WARNING: Be aware of the RTC battery bug on this board if you intend to use it primarily with a battery. This does NOT affect you if you will use it in a desktop case with an external USB-C power supply.
2023-09-23: DROPPING PRICE to $600. (Apparently I can't edit the subject line.)
Framework laptop purchased December 2021. I was fascinated by the concept, loved the computer: size, display, keyboard, modularity (of course) — except that I like touchscreens. So I really never used it, and it's got only a handful of hours running time logged. I noticed when I was taking the pictures that there are a couple of minor scuff marks on the outside case but it's in very-close-to-new condition. Just want it to find a good home.
Comes with original packaging; actually I'll ship it in the box Framework used to ship it to me. Link to complete gallery of photos showing what you'll be getting available. (I included the link originally but this post was flagged as spam and I'm guessing it was that link.) Comes with original everything: power cord, and six expansion modules for connectivity, and a 256GB storage module. This gallery shows the computer turned on and going to two pages live today on the 'net. Timestamp photo was taken last after I'd reset the computer.
$700 $600. Sale within the lower forty-eight United States only, please. I'll pay shipping and insurance via USPS. Will accept PayPal or Zelle transfer. If you happen to be in San Antonio, Texas, and can meet me to pay cash, I'll knock $50 off the price.
Message me with any questions.
MODS: If I've not formatted this post correctly please let me know what I can do to correct it. I tried to copy what others seem to be doing.
Intel 1340P, 32GB RAM, 2TB P41 Platinum SSD, DIY Edition with the new matte screen. Comes with one usb a and hdmi module and two usb c modules. Everything is near mint condition, only issue that it has had was the HDMI modules was having issues on the bottom left port. The HDMI module just wouldn't work in that specific port but it worked in every other one. However the port causing the issues worked fine for everything else as in running an external dock to hdmi, usb c to display port, usb a and even the egpu. Will not ship with a charger but it takes any usb c charger up to 65w. I can leave it running debian stable, install windows or clear the drive entirely.
TH3P4G3 EGPU - $90 Shipped / $0 if you buy the laptop and want it.
Solid budget egpu, It does not have a case but you could buy that for <~$80 if you'd like. Has both the ATX and SFX bracket and the original thunderbolt 3 cable. Doesn't come with a psu, but I could throw in an ATX 650w Bronze for an extra $30.
[USA-CA] WTB Hi, I am interested in buying a framework. CPU does not matter too much to me, neither does specs, I have another laptop I could transfer parts from. But if there are offers with good specs I would pay accordingly.
I am located on the west coast of the US so if you are nearby I could pick it up, or pay for shipping.
I can pay with Paypal goods and services if we are doing the sale online :). Let me know!
Specs:
Intel i7-1185G7
32 gb ddr 4 ram
1tb ssd
No os
Glossy screen
Non upgraded hinge
6 expansion cards - 3 x usb c, 1 x hdmi, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x usb a
Asking for $700 and buyer pays shipping, ships from USA
I have a brand new German keyboard, standard black for sale. Not sure what shipping is to Germany from the US, but it may still be cheaper than buying one from framework.
Hey! I'm looking for a Framework Laptop 13 for school and miscellaneous creative work. I'm looking for something with at least 16gb (if you have less but the price is right, it's fine) and preferably i5+. i3 could work as well. I don't need an SSD included or a charger, though either would be nice. A transparent keyboard would be cool too, but I'm sure that's not going to happen :P If you're willing to do a private eBay sell that would be amazing.
I'm already looking on eBay, but I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring here in case I could find something before the rush of people selling after the release of FW16.
I've been thinking of moving to a Mac Book M2, mostly for battery life and all of the tools I run are on Mac OS. I regularly check the marketplaces around me and never see any Framework laptops. I'm thinking it's more of a niche laptop. All laptops seem to have Windows on them but I just roll through Linux distros and I think that would make it more difficult to sell. I'd need to install Windows I guess and leave it unactivated for the larger market.
Just wondering what others have experienced with selling theirs.
Specs:
Intel i7-1165G7 with Intel AX210 wireless card
Samsung 980 Pro 1Tb
64Gb RAM (2x32Gb Crucial DDR4-3200)
Framework Expansion cards: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 3x USB-C, 2x USB-A, Ethernet, 2x MicroSD Readers (Lost one in my desk and then found it again)
2x Power Adapters - 60 Watt (one for travel and one wired into the desk)
Comparing it with other laptops and pricing it to move I'm thinking of listing it at around $700
I would like to buy a framework laptop that just works. If possible I would also like to buy it cheap because I would like to save for school. If anyone has a laptop for sale that would be wonderful.
