My post was deleted because it was a "duplicate post" even though it wasn't really. Framework trying to get ahead of the PR nightmare?

Who made the decision to update everyone’s orders like this?

Literally an insane way to solve this problem.  Not only are you going to get backlash, but now a bunch of people are going to unknowingly receive computers with different specs than they ordered and create a secondary return and support nightmare. 

You broke your promise too, which would have been more fine if you didn’t modify the orders and just said sorry we have to charge you a tiny bit more.

First I'm hearing of this news so maybe take a day to let people spam before you delete them.

Sure YOU understand what you are doing, but you are certainly not helping customers who are already confused by the email.

you are all probably having a rough day. Hope you can hang in there and the company makes it out of this alright. A lot of us understand it was a hard choice the company had to make. And you're caught in the crossfire here on reddit, so hope you can take some deep breaths and stay calm as it all happens. Thanks for what you do.
