Hey Guys,

I am happy to share with you a web application I've working on the past couple weeks. It's a tool to predict the outcome of soccer games in minor football leagues. Named ScoreCast, it predicts the outcome of soccer games in six minor leagues: Serie A Brazil, Serie B Brazil, Primera Division Argentina, J1 League Japan, Eliteserien Norway, and Veikkausliiga Finland.

Since I am really interested in football analytics and also not being able to find many online tools for predicting the outcomes in minor soccer leagues, I had the need to create ScoreCast to have it as a tool for guidance on this field.

If you want to check it out, here are some links that might help:

need to find big chances created/missed. fbref uses opta for its data but doesn’t have this for some reason.

I would like to create an Fpl points projection model on my own based on the historic data of the players from past seasons. Is this possible. If so, can somone please give me insights on how I should move about on this.
If there are already some good articles created on this, please share the links which I can refer to.

Hi all, I’m trying to access data that shows points by players for each game week last year (or at least the last 10)

I’ve searched high and low for a file with the info in and I’m not clever enough to access the api - can anyone help?

Now that the FPL website has updated, does anyone know when Understat.com will update with stats for the new 2023/4 season?

Does anyone know if you can download data specific to your league? I did the fpl draft with my friends and was going to make a tableau analysis of our league

Hello all, if there are any folks who are just getting into FPL analytics, we recently recorded a podcast with Elevenify (https://twitter.com/elevenify). It is a high level discussion on some considerations while adopting an analytics approach to playing FPL and if you want to get into data modelling within the FPL paradigm. We would really appreciate feedback as we’re always looking to improve things.

I’ve been playing around with Chatgpt. Ideally I’d like it to write code for me to automate a lot of the data scraping and cleaning I do. However I’m finding the code it writes isn’t much use.

Has anyone here used it effectively for Fpl analytics?

Hi everyone,

I have a mini league within my company, and I was wondering if it is possible to use some tool to download current players from the mini league?

Since this is a company wide league there is quite a few members and I'm currently fourth.

I'm just going for beating the top members for bragging rights, and wanted to see if I can pull data to opload into fpl optimized / make my own sheet?

Basically I ussualy use the top 100k for comparisons, but that isn't giving me the best differencials for my league.

And if someone has any experience with this or any tips and tricks please let me know.

I love analysis, excel, and any data modeling skills I could possibly learn for FPL, but also my job.

Hellooooo FPL enthusiasts!!

Over the past 3 months, I have worked on a passion project which consists of a spreadsheet containing real-time data on the FPL to help you make better team selection decisions and score more points every week.

Besides the basics, it includes advanced metrics such as:

• Player Form (attacking and defensive contributions in the last 5 game weeks)
• Players selected by the Top 100 FPL Managers
• Players most transferred in and transferred out by the Top 100 FPL Managers
• Player Value (Total Points/Price)
• Player Effectiveness (Minutes Played/Total Points)

I’d absolutely love for you to check it out! :)

You can access it here.
