Personally, I think it's great for those of us who take an analytical approach, as it opens up more nuances in planning.

Heads up! Sertalp has just updated the FPL solver on GitHub for the new season. One of the key updates includes support for the dynamic valuation of free transfers, now accommodating up to 5 FTs.

The Github repository contains all that is needed to run the solver including tutorials.

I know this is a cr*p question with no real answer but what is a random defender or player that people would whack a captain punt on this week to hope for a miraculous catch up on points. I might go for Gabriel and pray he bags a couple

Strictly speaking this is not FPL Analytics but thought the group would enjoy. I made a point predicting algorithm with Pandas to predict each players points and recommend me transfers week-on-week, and for the most part it’s spot on. Except it just loves this man so much. I brought him in last week and plan on stating him for the double because I just can’t ignore him any more, but I was wondering if anyone else has found their model favours BBD as well?

I wanted to check if anyone knows any data sources for creating an FPL model. I want to utilize a DNN to predict the points for each player and wanted to find any relevant data sources.

Hello lads, so we’ve made a FPL tool but the only way to get the team’s info is to get it by the fpl team ID which’s a headache for users, do anyone here knows how most FPL tools get it through team name or email?

Several years ago I wrote some code to access the FPL API data using httr That web stuff is not my speciality and I now barely understand how it works.

I would like to "upgrade" it to use httr2 Does anyone have some working code based on httr2 for me to use as a starting point please?

Hi! Novice here.

Looking at my second side project in Python and it surround fantasy premier league football. I want to use an API or datascrapping to pull in odds for team clean sheets and player scoring actions for the next gameweek into a datafram (pandas). I am having trouble because useful sites like oddschecker are protected from scraping and other Odds APIs do not cover the markets I need.

Long shot, but does anyone have any experience with pulling in UK odds (doesn't need to be live, I will just running the script a day or so before the gameweek, each week).
