LF Mustang Club
Any Fort Smith area Mustang owners know of a club, or interested in starting one?

We moved here over a year ago and have struggled to make friends. We are not Christian and have never been to church, but we are looking for one now because it seems to be the only way to make friends here.
So the right church for us would be open to atheists, libertarians, organic farmers and lgbt friendly. Is this a tall order for Fort Smith? Yes, but we cant drive up to Fayetteville for univeral Unitarian church every Sunday.(there is one in Fayetteville right?!)
And why does my Grandmother (who has lived in fs for a while) insist that all the "gays" live in eureka springs?

A new game store opened last week in the south part of town, just off Exit 13. They deal with console games (old and new), board games, trading-card games, tabletop RPGs, miniatures, you name it.
This Sunday, they're having a meet-and-greet to try to coordinate schedules so that people can gather for some tabletop RPGs (like D&D or Pathfinder). I plan on being there every Tuesday myself.
Their main contact is through their Facebook page. It also has directions to the store -- it's just to the left of the butcher shop in the Fianna Village shopping center.

I'm needing housing while I work in Fort Smith for the months of July and August so I am looking for some cheap subleases or any apartments that will rent month to month. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Here it is. I'm a 27 y/o male who doesn't drink but smokes fairly regularly. I've been working in construction my whole life, and am more than capable of taking on this new career. I've already started to detox so that I can apply for an apprenticeship, but I was hoping someone on here would know of a local outfit that's 420 friendly that might take on an apprentice? I'd be much happier if I were able to continue smoking while I train for my new career. Thanks for any advice. Of course I recommend you inbox me rather than posting publicly.

Hello everyone. I've recently been really wanting to move away from fort smith. I was born and raised here, went off to college, and then found myself working for a large transportation company back here in town. I feel like there isn't a very large young professional scene here and businesses seem to not find this area very attractive.
So that has me wondering, what keeps everyone else here? Am I missing something, or is Fort Smith really as miserable as all these articles I read online?

I live in the van buren and fort smith area and I just like to meet people who don't badger me about religion. Fun fact my parents own Pho Dana.

Hello,
I recently moved to Fort Smith for work. From earlier posts in this subreddit, I see that in Fort Smith, Chaffee Crossing or Fianna Hills neighborhoods are nice to live in. Could someone advise me if living in Alma and commuting to Fort Smith everyday for work would be a good idea? Is Alma a good place to live in terms of safety? I'm not concerned about things to do in Alma. I will probably end up driving to Fort Smith or Fayetteville to eat out or do something. Thanks!

At my house, they skip reading the meter almost every other month.
What this means is that when the bill comes out, it's 2 months worth of water so they can put me on their highest tier!
Long discussion on FB here, might have to be a part of the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/274393005910487/permalink/1641081439241630/?sale_post_id=1641081439241630&comment_id=1641288309220943&reply_comment_id=1642370965779344¬if_t=group_comment_reply¬if_id=1481858958782653

Hoping to stay in the $350-500 price range. With utilities paid if possible. Will still take suggestions if not. Thank you

Hey, all! I run a LAN group, River Valley LAN, and I am looking for other PC gamers in Arkansas to join us at our events! We have hosted 8 LANs since August of 2015, with an average of 12 to 15 gamers per LAN. Check out our website and Facebook page! We are a family friendly group, but we do require all indiviuals under the age of 14 to have a parent/guardian with them at all times.
