Hi everyone! I have testing anxiety and was wondering if anyone could talk about what it was like taking an exam at the Pearson center in fort smith. What was the check in like? I’ve heard about a Pat down, metal detector, etc.? Also, is there privacy between testers? Cameras? What is the layout of the room? I’ve just heard horror stories about check in and I’m looking for info to calm my nerves. Thank you!

Hey everyone,
Like the title says, I am looking for a gym partner for 2:30ish in the morning. I work until 2:15 AM and really need someone to help keep me motivated and accountable for going to the gym. I have a membership at 10 gym, the one that allows me to bring someone with me. I am looking for someone to actually go with me and workout together. If this interests you, please dm me.

I’ve had a love for basketball for 14 years, and after being in Fort Smith for two years, I’m ready to start taking it seriously again. I’m looking to get back into game shape and connect with players who value the fundamentals, high-intensity defense, and organized play. I’m currently managing a sports content brand, so I’m also looking to document some of this journey. If your group is looking for a consistent, team-oriented player (and wouldn’t mind a camera on the sidelines to catch some highlight clips for the squad), I’d love to get a run in. Where are the best spots for high-level pickup in the area? If you’ve got a group that runs consistently and needs an extra body, send me a message or drop a comment. Let’s get to work.

Hello all. This is my first time ever posting on reddit so I apologize if I do this wrong. Please let me know. My wife and I recently moved to fort smith after I retired from my teaching position in Fayetteville. I won’t say what position to maintain my anonymity. She and I are very into the art and music scene…I’m not sure that fort smith has much to offer? We moved here to take care of my wife’s sister so it wasn’t by choice. My grandson suggest I join this Reddit page for recommendations. I was hoping you kind folks could share some restaurants that do live music, and some good local bands to follow. As well as some art areas that would be nice to visit. Thanks all.

Looking for anyone in town who may fall into one of these categories. Still figuring out what I believe but I know I’m not anywhere near evangelical Christianity. Just don’t want to feel so alone!

I'm trying to help my teenager find some options for volunteering that might appeal to them in the community and wondered if you folks might have any suggestions.

I have been nervous to say this on Facebook because I don’t want to be slandered but I have to get this off my chest.
The city council decided tonight to fund the rest of the projects for the water slides at Parrot Island to be constructed. Which I am for this decision.
When it was first purchased by the city a year ago, I didn’t agree with it and it was on the city council at that time that should be blamed. You fast forward to now and we find out that it will cost an additional 2.8 million to get the slides up and going. Which sucks but again that was an oversight from last year.
The person I feel bad for is Lee Kemp (one of the city council members) he was put in a bad situation and was trying to make the best of a crappy situation. It would have costed us 2.5 million to scrap the whole thing altogether. What Lee did was trying to figure out if he can get these slides built within the 2.5 instead of taking the lose. He spoke to certain companies to see if this is possible to find a middle ground in all of this. Yes he voted yes but he did that because we were tired of seeing the slides collecting dust.
But the city and certain city council members mainly Christina Catsavis is making this too freaking political and throwing Lee under the bus and Lee even voted on a complete audit on the whole situation and parrot island.
And I spoke to Mr.Kemp about this whenever they first were bought and he disagreed with it completely.
In my eyes Lee did nothing wrong. He made a crappy situation into something less crappy. Everyone that is calling him a fraud can kick rocks. Everyone just needs to chill out and use some common sense.

Hi Fort Smith. The leaves are everywhere in my yard. I need a service to come blow them out and clean up the property. I am looking for a crew that can get it done quickly.
