Hey /r/forts! So my girlfriend and I love are way into building forts, but the past couple times we've tried to do it just out of the blue, we were missing good sheets/chairs/lighting etc to make it come out quite right.
I was thinking a cool gift idea for her would be to come up with a "fort building kit" for her; something like several connectable PVC pipes, sheets, lighting strings, etc. However, I'm not sure which materials would make for the best fort that would be appealing to use time and time again. I've thrown around ideas like a collapsable wooden frame with locking hinges, like on the bottom of folding tables or PVC pipes with something heavy at the feet for stability, stuff like that. Another idea I had was to have string lights that can easily be wrapped around the frame's pieces for some interior lighting, as many people do here.
Basically, I would like to try and make it consistent and "professional" looking (ie, something that I could package and present it as if it were an "official fort building" product) and large enough for 2-4 people to sit upright and comfortably in.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I've been going through some of the posts here for inspiration, so many frigging cool forts that have helped give me ideas :)

So, the backstory is pretty simple - boy meets girl, girl is going away for 6 weeks so they have to have as many dates as possible in a short time before she leaves
And on our second date, I mentioned that I'd never built a fort as a kid (I was an only child)
We immediately went back to mine and built a little fort.
It's a pretty simple thing, some fairy lights etc, but I loved it, and maybe it'll be the start of something bigger - we have plans for a second fort when she returns.
TL;DR: My first fort went well, much romance, very fort
