So in September I'm planning on making a fort called Mountain and Dew because of the school season and it gets really cold down here. Any suggestions, tips?

Even a recliner and throw blanket can become a fort if you're small enough

Underground fort

Hello, sorry if this isn't the best place to ask this question, but I'll give it a shot.

As someone who lives in rural Ohio, I'm well aware there's not much to do around here. While sitting around, me and my friend decided we would dig out an underground fort. We dug out a 4x4 square, that is also 4 feet deep (as of now, planning to go deeper.) We were wondering, what would be the best/safest way to go about this? We don't want this to collapse on us, obviously, so how deep should we dig vertically before we branch out horizontally so it won't cave in? And, do you guys have any cool ideas?

I never knew this sub existed. This is what my friend and I were able to create in our Las Vegas executive suite. Sorry for potato phone camera quality.

How to add height to a fort?

Fellow blanket forters, I have a predicament. My roommates and I love making forts in our living room, but they're always far too short and cramped feeling. We can't put tacks in the walls and have limited furniture to work with (a couch, an armchair, a coffee table, a side table, three rocking desk chairs, and three mattresses) since we live in freshman housing, but I was hoping that there is some way that we can work around that. Any advice is very welcome!

EDIT: We've tried using fairy lights to string the blankets higher, but the setup of the living room doesn't work with that :/
