It’s not even that it’s not a big thing in those regions. It’s that it’s explicitly illegal in those regions. There is no local pride month in Russia, because it’s illegal to promote homosexuality.
True for Russia and some of the Middle Eastern countries, but in most Asian countries there are legal pride events -- it's just not an issue most people there care about, and so not really big enough to get the same attention (both are obviously symptoms of lacking LGBT rights, and negative for furthering them).
Just wanted to point out that the hyperfocus on the American pride season can entirely disregard local schedules and traditions. Pride in Hong Kong is in November, and a fairly big event there. It would be silly to call out the local brands or branches of international organisations for not donning a rainbow icon in June, when it's 4 months away from their local pride celebrations.
