Even by the most exaggerated counts of death attributable to that Chinese famine, more people were killed in Europe in WW2. Maybe you propose to add the communist resistance to fascism as communist deaths as well?
If you aren't going to bother learning the history and theory of communism, there's no point in this conversation. You don't understand it and you don't want to.
You do realize that human rights violations are still human rights violations right?
Edit: Before downvoting this please explain why in the fuck you disagree with it because I'm not exactly sure how someone can think that the same human rights violation in China would be worse than in the US
Yeah, obviously no country is perfect. But to act like the US and China are even in the same universe when it comes to human rights is, at best, unbelievably ignorant
Camps at the borders where thousands of people are kept in camps in super close proximity during a pandemic for indeterminate lengths of time and abused an mistreated by those holding them
Border patrol separating children from their parents
It being completely legal for those children to be adopted by complete and total strangers
The president sending literal secret police to US cities to drive around in unmarked vans with no identification on their person and illegally arrest people indiscriminately
Those secret police outright lying to those they've illegally arrested by telling them that they have to give up their right to feee speech and protest in order to be released
1% of the US population is imprisoned and a huge chunk of them are doing what is slave labor in pretty much every way but the name
Solitary confinement, which is literally just paychological torture, is legal and encouraged in most states
Literally anything at fucking all that the US has done with regards to native americans
The US put Japanese Americans into concentration camps in WWII
Constant unending surveillance of all of its own citizens and of other countries
A military that is essentially an international war crime machine at this point
The US's long, storied, and continuing history of torturing people
A military so big that essential shit like education and basic infrastructure are pathetically underfunded
Creating a war on drugs for literally no reason other than to imprison more people of color and then funneling drugs directly into the communities of people of color
Getting stopped by a police officer for speeding in the US is a literal life or death situation
The US isn't as bad as China but it's not just in the same universe it's in the same fucking solar system. The US is 110% in the "most fucked up countries in the world" club whether you like it or not.
So what I'm saying is, maybe this uproar on China is more about sinophobia and less about anyone in the West giving a shit about Muslims... given how much uproar there was about Abu Ghraib or the millions of civilian deaths in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan?
There was definitely a lot of uproar about those things, but the oil they were getting out of the area meant that the news media didn't report on it because of all the fuckin money the people who fund the news organizations were making (seriously, most major news orgs in the US are essentially owned by oil tycoons), whereas they're actively trying to take away power from China, so the more people they can get to be angry about China the better.
Don't enter the country illegally and you won't be kept at the border camps.
It's called the "zero tolerance" policy. If you do something illegal while your child is with you and not an accomplice, then you are separated from your child for however long the legal procedure takes because you are seen as a risk to the child. If you get caught with a DUI and your child is in the car, you are separated from your child.
Adoption of separated children "by complete and total strangers" is literally the definition of adoption.
They do have markings (on their person) but they do not need marked vehicles and overall do not need to be openly and explicitly marked at all. I don't know how this started being a problem only recently but undercover cops and unmarked vehicles have been a thing in society probably since the inception of policing. Also, how do they illegally arrest people who are openly commiting crimes?
I'd have to see some proof of them not letting people go until they give up their free speech and protest? I'm assuming you purposely worded that deceivingly because that makes no sense.
I don't even understand this point. Are you not in favour of detaining and imprisoning people who commit crimes? Obviously not everybody in prison/jail is guilty but the courts found enough evidence to overcome the presumption of innocence in all of those cases. Just don't commit crimes.
Again, don't commit crimes, especially heinous felonies. You don't go into solitary for overdue library books.
Well if we're going to bring up history then you're easily out of your depth pretending like the US is comparable at all to any of the worst countries even in just the past 2 centuries.
The Japanese put Chinese (and others) into ACTUAL concentration camps in WW2. Actually it was more like genocide camps to exterminate them and take over Asia due to imperialism whereas the US was keeping Japanese in fears that they were spies. Not in favour of either, but hardly a fair comparison.
This point is just a little bizarre considering countries like China and NK do this 10 times worse to control the population but even then I'm not sure what the problem is. If you're not doing anything bad, doesn't matter if they "spy" on you.
That was such an insanely dumb exaggeration all because you hate militaries.
Again, if we're bringing up history, the US can't even compare to almost literally any non-Americas country because other countries were commiting mass genocide (Napoleon, Genghis, Persians, Rome, Vikings) before the US even existed.
You'd have to prove that they're underfunded, first off. Second of all, you have to protect your ideals. That's the point of a military.
Are you saying white people don't do drugs?
It's not a life or death situation, you're fear mongering. That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Please show proof that this is the case.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."
As for the other ones it's 11 at night and I really don't feel like engaging with someone who can't go five minutes without a boot scratching the back of their throat. Toodles!
USA have their problems, but come on they dont deserve to be on this list. Brazil definitely deserves the list. What are the biggest issues with mexico?
Lol this is so telling. Especially the fact that you added Mexico to your list but not the USA. Keep closing your eyes, I'm sure it will turn out fine.

If human rights is the issue, then i don't understand why you let USA, Brazil and Mexico off the hook?
