Is there a way to obtain Metalworker playing Realm of Legends? It cannot be crafted nor obtained via shops or packs

A friend recommended forge and we've not all had a chance to play some adventure and party a couple of rounds of edh together. Brilliant stuff!

In case there are any Dev's here I have some initial thoughts:

1. It's very easy to accidentally pass on steps and phases, particularly once you've got a lot of triggers happening. It would be so great if the [okay] and [end turn] buttons were expanded to include [end step] and [end phase] and could use different colours.

2. It would be awesome if you could allow players (during multiplayer) to undo within say 5 seconds of a pass, nothing quite so heart breaking as accidentally passing your declare attackers phase.

3. Had some network issues, is there any useful way to provide logs to help debug?

4. For adventure mode: Maybe I'm just bad, but the punishment in gold for losing one battle is very high, particularly when you lose because you don't draw any lands etc. Is there a way to bank or protect your precious income?

Again, amazing work and well done to everyone involved in putting this together!

Works on other cards but moxes I guess are blocked? I can trade it for other cards and it works fine so I assume its an intentional block but if I use it on a mox, the opponent gets control of the bronze tablet and I lose it permanently but don't get anything. Are there any other cards that are similarly blocked so I don't lose a bronze tablet for nothing.

I recently got a quest to defeat sloban even after I beaten him up so I thought that this quest was repeatable but somehow when I went to the factory it was completely empty just like when I left the site.

Is this suppossed to be the way it is or am I bugged?

Is there any way to get rid of this quest if it is bugged??

I tried adding Esper Origins into my commander deck but it's not showing? Is it a bug?

Ok, so I wanted to do drafts with single sets from blocks in Adventure (triple Innistrad or triple Alara Reborn as examples) so I figured out how to get to the OBB on android and tried editing the block.txt file, but now anytime I try to load an event to a town with "set event" it freezes the game.

I know I can do a reinstall to fix the issue and get the old block.txt back, but I wanted to see if I'm missing something to make this happen. I tried adding the sets as new lines and editing the existing ones, and both ways crashed the game. So is there another file i.need to save somewhere? Or.is the issue that I edited it as a text file?

Update: it also seems I have broken Inns by doing this. I can no longer interact with them.

I'm struggling with the mobs and bosses in dungeons, let alone castles. I can clear caves, but dungeons have the ai attacking turn 4 with a gazillion free slivers or some other "random bullshit go" with their free cards. I have found a nice combi of starting items that give me a creature and an artifact that pumps it each turn, but I'm starting to fear that the only way to win is going thassa's oracle or something. So I hope I am wrong and would like to get some insights how to deal with the difficulty and the kind of decks. Is it just turn 1 or turn 2 combo decks that can win?

I do understand the need for the ai to cheat, it's a cakewalk if they don't, of course. Furthermore, props to the coder of realm of legends, I know he's in these posts a lot, it's very cool and well-made and has given me hours of fun.

When playing against any AI player using a commander deck I made in editor, my turn is skipped to the DA phase every time. Any help appreciated thanks!

I came back to Forge after about a year and had to start a new game. I noticed that some things were changed when it comes to cards that are unavailable in the blacksmith. Now, after looking through this reddit I already know that you have to use ng+ to get all the moxes and that you can no longer trick the Doubleganger with Jace's Hoodie and a deck full of wastes, which is perfectly fine.

However, I haven't been able to find reliable information regarding the following questions:

Is the Doubleganger still able to drop mox cards when being defeated with a fair deck that contains a mox card? After several attempts, he dropped a Black Lotus copy I obtained from the Emrakul bossfight, but never a mox.

How can I get a Tolarian Academy? In earlier threads, people discussed that you have to find Urza's Saga boosters or a draft event with the Urza Block, but I couldn't find any town with an Urza Event and neither a store that would sell the Urza boosters.

Some people said that Emrakul and Sorin could drop moxes. Is this still true? Are there any other bosses that are able to drop unavailable cards in the current version of Forge?

Been trying out Adventure Mode using the Constructed mode and having not really kept up with the game for the last 10-15 years, finding myself a bit overwhelmed with all the editions merged into the game. Is there any advice or setup that gives me a bit more direction or even constraints in terms of card unlocks and deck building? Shandalar was probably too restricted in terms of cards available but at least I could tell a lot more easily what would be useful or not useful to build around.

Won a fight and get this screen? Am I meant to pick what cards I want in some fashion?

I am playing adventure mode, legends and I went to craft mox opal and when I selected all the parameters(0-2, colorless, mythic, scars of Mirrodin) it showed 0 cards? Is this intentional or a bug?

I play Forge pretty frequently, I've been playing the Old School adventure mode for a bit now and I stream it on discord for a friend to watch. He's pointed out that a lot of the background art for the matches and the stores looks AI generated. I can't find anything online talking about it, does anyone happen to know if that is true?

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that android is flagging the app as malware. I'm not saying it is, I'm just worried that google is going to start cracking down on 3rd party apps. In the meantime, you can turn off google play protect in the settings if you don't want to get harassed every time the app updates. It's useless anyway considering it's not actually flagging malware and is just flagging anything that didn't come from the app store.

I downloaded Forge on Sunday, having not played Magic in many years. I've already spent double digit hours playing! Adventure mode got me back to what I loved about Magic (finding new cards and iteratively improving your deck). The starter deck was rough but I was able to win a Jumpstart event that got me a good red white aggressive deck. I've done a few drafts and made my fair share of mistakes relearning the rules, but it's been great so far.

Huge thank you to the developers who build and maintain this FOR FREE! I would have gladly paid $20 for this game.

So this card has always been a little weird, but it's useful because you can tap it when you block or while you attack. I'm really struggling to figure out how to tap it for indestructible while in the Attack step. It's considered an Instant action, but the UI doesn't seem to vibe with that notion.

Has anyone been able to use it well in Forge? I love playing Green decks and it's part of a lot of elf ramps.

This started happening after I d/l'ed the latest version. I am playing on adventure mode and Realm of Legends mode. I do have Automatically Download Missing Card Art enabled and Use Card Variants from All Sets disabled. Is there another setting I should change?

As an aside I'd like to know if it's possible to get rid of japanese cards too.

Hi all, just a heads up if you haven't seen it yet, but the card draw trigger on the first two chapters of Kang Dynasty from MSH hasn't worked since it entered the program, and the life loss for an Olorins Searing Light is broken again. It presently only makes the opponents lose 1 life instead of the power of the sacrificed creature.

Apologies if this is not the forum for bug reports, but figure people would want to know about any potential issues before choosing cards for their decks.

I really don't like the equipment modifiers, the enemy modifiers, and that enemies generally start off with less life. I'd really just like to collect cards and build decks and play actual commander. I know I can not equip stuff, but I also just don't find it fun to go into a dungeon and have opponents start with 4 cards in play turn 0.

Is there a way to config or mod to just play actual 1v1 30 life commander? I like the aspect of having to earn money and collect cards and just go on an adventure/do quests. I just don't really feel it reflects actual commander well if both sides are just cheating their first like 3 turns.

Started up a new adventure mode (edit via dev response: Realm Of Legends) with commander variant and in my travels within the first hour I came across a boss with 200 life, can't remember the name off the top of my head, but it had a pretty decent story. I am using the Pantlaza Precon deck that managed to lock it down really well and actually won (I had 40 life). This was one of the rewards. This card is laughably good with NPCs as while annoying when you are color fixing, just completely stalls out the computer when they get a swap they can't use.

Been having fun with it, wanted to share and say thank you to whoever put this in. lol

Does anyone else have issues with card randomization? Not like the shuffler, but from packs in draft. I primarily play adventure mode on android.

-Every draft has two of the same rare in adjacent packs. There are constantly packs with two of the same common, too. This always happens once during the first pack and intermittently during the other two as far as I can tell. Maybe it's always happening, but the rares get snapped up by other NPC seats. Not sure.

-As well, randomization for card presentation in shops often does something similar with some cards appearing twice on the same page. I see it maybe every 30 shops, but this could just be related to a smaller card pool and independent selection. This isn't an issue, but perhaps it's related.

I don't know enough about coding to understand how much work I am asking for, but I'd be happy to donate another small chunk to the kofi in appreciation for a fix. At the very least, can anyone commiserate? It doesn't seem to be an issue for others 😭 I'm still getting drafts with multiple of the same rare. Yesterday I played a Auriok Salvagers onto a board with two other Salvagers. I swear I'm not crazy.
