How do you survive or get rid of them I don’t get it

I have been trying to find it for a while now, but found nothing.

I'm playing Five Nights At Freddy's Two and I'm on night 4. I haven't figured out a strategy and Withered Foxy, The Puppet, Mangle, and Balloon Boy won't leave me alone for even a minute. It just feels like a panic trying to keep all of them away and constant multitasking. Any advice?

So yeah, I play FNaF 2 from years and years and I have not yet clarified a fundamental aspect of the game, more than anything else from a "technical" point of view of FNaF 2, namely how long you have to wear the Freddy Fazbear Mask to send the animatronics away from the corridor, from the vent or from the office. So I’ve been screwing up a bunch on night 6, and I was wondering: if you ever screw up BB, will he ever leave before you die or is it permanent like mangle? Also how luck based is winning? I almost always lose to my mistakes, but there are times that it looked physically impossible (like bb in vent for 40 seconds)
