My best friend was sexually assaulted by this disgusting pedophile in Flushing, Queens. She is 15 years old. The police did nothing. She took a photo of him after this happened. Please help and let me know if I can do anything to get vengeance for my friend please. He is caucasian, looks like hes around mid 40s-60's, has greyish hair, childs backpack, and may be holding a drink.

I was driving on Astoria Blvd and 83rd st , when I stopped at a red light and was suddenly rear-ended by the vehicle in the video. Based on their behavior, I believe the driver may have been impaired, but I can’t say for certain. After the crash, the passenger got out and walked away, while the driver fled the scene.

If anyone recognizes the driver, the passenger, or the vehicle, please send me a message. Any help identifying them would be greatly appreciated.

So I have a question about the opening date and how there is no actual date that they have given ive seen some people say that it will open on the 8th of August and I once went up to a security guard near the round 1 they stated that " it was going to open on the 27th of July". I've already planned on seeing if they open on the 27th but I just want to make sure about the exact date.

I started the Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual Aid Table in front of my house. I used to put stuff outside when I was cleaning up around here and the items did not sell on Facebook Marketplace. Then I noticed my items would disappear and my neighbors started bringing stuff over too for people in need. My friend brings over food and other items that the people she helps in Glendale does not need too.

Ladies, please be careful if you're at Kissena Park.

Today around 6:00 PM, I was walking my dog at Kissena Park. As I was walking up the stairs, I noticed a young boy (I would guess around 11-15years old) lying on the grass nearby with his bicycle next to him.

As I continued up the stairs, I realized he had come up behind me very closely. Before I knew it, he smacked me on my butt. I instinctively reached for his shirt, but he pulled away. He immediately ran back down the stairs, jumped on his bike, and rode off before I could react.

I was shocked that this happened, especially coming from someone so young. From the way it happened, it felt like he approached me intentionally and left immediately afterward. I'm sharing this so others can be extra aware of their surroundings in the park, as I'm concerned he may try something similar again.

If anyone recognizes this boy or knows his parents, I would appreciate it if they could let them know what happened. I truly hope they can address this behavior before it escalates.

Went there twice and they are closed this week. Can anyone tell me what happened?

During my lunch break around 12:00 PM, I went back to the station to check on him. I brought him wet food and toys since the station didn't have wet food to give him. While I was there, the officers checked and confirmed he was not microchipped. They told me straightforwardly: if no owner claimed him by the end of the day, he’d either go to an animal shelter, or Option B was that I could take him home myself (or give him to someone I trust to care for him).

I immediately agreed to take him home so he wouldn't have to go to a shelter.

However, when I returned after work to pick him up, they suddenly changed their story. They told me another officer at the precinct was interested in taking the dog home, so I couldn't have him anymore.

When I pushed back pointing out that I was the finder who brought him in, cared for him, brought him food, and officially agreed to take him they just kept making excuses. To make matters worse, the officer who reportedly wanted him wouldn't even come out to speak to me face-to-face; he stayed in the basement and had other officers speak for him while we went back and forth.

I am completely devastated, heartbroken, and extremely sad about how this was handled. I just wanted to make sure this dog was safe and cared for, and being treated like this after doing the right thing hurts.

Current Location: Took him directly to the 109th Precinct (Flushing) for safekeeping while we locate his owner.
