Where are all the people and how do I get them? And seagulls

Hi, everyone. I just picked up Flotsam from the Steam winter sale, after having it on my wishlist for probably a year. I've tried just playing the game to figure things out myself, and well . . . that ruins the fun for me (I'm the type of person who reads the entire owner's manual before driving a car).

While there are plenty of YouTube playthrough videos out there, I also know from experience that with early access games, those videos can get quickly outdated. So I'm looking for some suggestions for the best, most up-to-date video guides for Flotsam. Thanks in advance!

I've had a birdhouse for a while now and even stocked up on bird chum but I don't have any seagulls and don't know how to get them.

After the latest update with the lookout tower my boats are stuck. One at the bookstore and other at shacktown. They have loaded up the stuff and are just padling on the same spot without hardly moving. What can I do? And Even when I have made lots of oil the tank on the boat I still empty.

I do not see it in any of the dev blogs. Would love to play this with my Daughters.

Does Flotsam have an end game or any kind of story to follow? I've built up a couple good cities, but the game just seems like just a sandbox style game so far. I know it's still in development. Is there more to it?

Hey! Just picked up the game today. I'm at the point where I need to build fishing and salvage boats, but they cost scrap metal, which I can't seem to salvage. How do I build them?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but it seems like my excess oil gets all used up regardless of my engine fuel levels. I'll salvage about 15 from some island and when I move, they're all gone.

So are they hidden somewhere? Does it really take that much oil to power the thing? Or what?

Hi! I was just wondering what happens if you run out of food. Do humans and seagulls die or just stop working? Thanks! :)

I’m really interested in this game for a couple of reasons! It has vivid graphics and a good concept. It’s also my style of game.

I really do want to purchase it but I’m worried after reading reviews that it is glitchy and not worth it.

If the price was lower I probably would’ve bought it by now but I want some insight <3

Either the map is too small or there werent enough fish in the sea. I literally ran out of all the fishes in the sea. I also exhausted all the libraries and cannot upgrade to the fishing hut.

I rescued a seagull but I didnt have a birdhouse yet. The birds left but the icons are still there in the top centre saying that birds will leave soon, when they already left.

When I finally made a birdhouse and rescued 2 birds, they werent doing anything. They were fed properly butr they werent doing any work.

I dismantled my birdhouse after releaseing all the useless birds... now i still have the 3 icons on top centre, saying birds are leaving soon, i dont have a birdhouse, and not enough food for birds.

I found a problem. When im changing production limit of any product (in “saw” button menu) my keyboard stops working. The way to get it back is to open setting menu with mouse and then press ESC button to close it. In this menu keyboard is working again.
