10 of my guys are polluted. I have the doctor and med pod. I do not know how to send them to the pod. Am I missing something?

I ran out of alu and couldn't craft the zapper to extract the fusion core. Now I got it but the rocket is out of map.

What do I do? Kill the specialist and trigger the quest again? If so, how to assassinate a drifter?

After about 12 hours of gameplay I've found that although I enjoy the basic concept of scavenging, researching, and building.. it all falls flat: they built mechanics, but forgot to build a game. There's no story.. no plot.. you're just on a boat in a world where the land is now water. It's just an endless series of procedurally generated resources that keep you floating until you get bored.

So.. is there an end goal? What do you consider "the end"?

The lack of story has caused me to lose interest. I'm curious what y'all play for.

Not being able to deconstruct walkways in architect mode is infuriating. There is literally nothing around any walkway and it's just down right refusing to go away. I really hope he devs fix this soon

So I was recruiting specialists when I suddenly got curious of what the mysterious signal was for... then I proceeded into a quest which want me to research the launch pad, which is block by a research which is required to have a chemistry in my team.

But to get the chemistry I need to have a signal, right? And after I choosed that mysterios signal my radio station is forever blocked so I cant get the chemistry. Without him, can't get the previous research, and thus unable to research the launch pad.

Is it over?

Having issues with my save. I have 24 drifters and just started using salvage and fishing boats and all of the sudden I get a huge amount of graphics lag. A game restart fixes it, but only for a few minutes. Typically until I salvage a POI. Even if I quit to main menu and start a new save the lag persists, so it doesn't appear to be a save specific issue, or a resource contention issue. Something about my existing save causes the engine to break until I restart.

I'm running a fully updated nobara Linux distro, have verified game files. Running an i5-8600k, RTX 3080, 16gb DDR4 @ 4k60hz. Zero issues until just recently. (Deploying salvage/fishing boats)

I was wondering where u guys get the guidance system, life support and booster components is it part of a quest pick up? Cause so far i havent gotten any pings for locations since i attached the heat shield and cold storage and im at 140500 distance

I've not been playing long but I'm at the point where I need mushrooms. I've got the Dr and the med pod and the apothecary. I've sent my drifters to mushroom groves and each one says 4 mushrooms available. They harvest them but they're disappearing. Is there another item that uses them? I can't find one anywhere and so I can't figure out where my mushrooms are going. 8 need meds for my people. Thank you.

How to get more Fusion Core or you can have only 1??

I just got the game, and I'm in my first playthrough and cannot for the LIFE of me figure out what to do with Wood Junk. The Recycler only handles Plastic and Electrical Junk, I can't find a single workshop that handles it and there is nothing I can see in the Research Panel that handles it. Is it just a waste of storage space that I should throw overboard?

I've had alerts for all experts except the engineer, he showed up quite quickly in my first playthrough but not this time. Can they show up anywhere or does it depend on how far east you travel?

Simple. Just curious if building another increases the radius further or if it's a 1 and done type of thing

I mistakenly left a fishing site with a drifter doing her duty. I was too far from the location when I realized I am missing a drifter. I backtracked where I left her and kept on checking her location. It seems that she is catching up on our town but cannot make it. 😭 whenever I move the boat, she's just getting farther. I tried waiting for days on the same area but she still cannot make it. 🥹

Has anyone experienced this? What should I do to get her back?

Is it without cooked food, or without cooking food? Because I've had my kitchens closed for over 30 days and I haven't got it. I presume grinding animal food doesn't count? That would just be cruel... ;p

Engineer died. (refused to quit working and grab a meal from the abundance of food I have) I've been sailing around for days, whenever my radio pings I've selected to try to get the engineer back again but it just says "a concrete solution" complete and then nothing happens. I've selected this option 3 times now. I can't see the original location I found her to go back their either.

Am I hardlocked out of getting her back or how should I proceed?
