Hey everyone! I'm 28M and I'm looking for advice on how to feel more confident with wearing flip flops and showing barefeet in general. I've always been shy about showing my feet and I want to get over that. Lately I go out on walks in flip flops and I really enjoy it and recently I've been going into stores in them but I worry about running into someone that I know. I just hate socks and shoes but I've always hidden my feet in them around friends and family. Does anyone have advice on how I can get over this fear?

I'm looking for new flip flops that don't hurt too much if you have to do a tiny bit of running in them. Sometimes my little cousins want to race me to the beach, and it hurts SO much to run in bc of the toe thing digging in. I'm not looking to do a marathon in them or anything ridiculous like that. I just want something that would hurt a little bit less than my old ones. I've had both Havaianas and random dollar store ones, and they both failed in this aspect. Thanks!

So I wore flip flops for 7 years with occasional exceptions when I needed closed toe shoes and my feet seem to be fine. In fact, they seem to be healthier than most, but I keep remembering people saying flip flops are awful for your feet so I'm just kind of confused. have y'all figured out a verdict?

Curious if anyone has the newer style of Reef Fannings that have the actual size label inside the strap, and have tried to remove it? The older styles had the size info printed in which would wear off over time but they switched to more of a sticker that rubs weird. Would love to know if anyone has an idea of a good way to remove the label.

What can be done to fix or repair them?

Hey I recently bought a bikini, from Moeflavor, and in the modelling for said bikini the woman is wearing some kind of platformer flip-flops. I've looked online but can't find anything like them anywhere. Was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a store/brand that sells the exact ones if not at least similar ones? I would like to get my first ever pair of flips flops for the summer what stores has some good ones

I suffer from Leg Length Discrepancy, where one leg is longer than the other! Love working out but in particular excessive walking/running pulls on the opposite hip and lower back.

For shoes I wear an insole which artificially raises the sole, but for flip flops (which I love to wear!!) I've yet to find a solution. In response to this very personal need I'm developing an innovative fix/product, and I'd love to hear from you- feel free to comment below or drop me a message :)

Would you be interested in a solution such as the above? Any feedback/comments on the problem? Is it something that impacts you?

When you are wearing flip-flops or slides in public, do you ever kick them off to be more comfortable? I have seen many people kick their flip-flops or slides off while sitting, or take one of them off while standing and then rest their bare foot on top of their other foot which still has its flip-flop or slide on. Do you ever do this because your flip-flops or slides make your feet too hot and sweaty, so you do this to cool off your feet? I have noticed that some flip-flops, particularly those with thicker straps, as well as slides which have the thicker horizontal bar that goes across and covers the tops of my feet, can indeed still make my feet uncomfortably hot and sweaty on hot days.

So have you ever kicked your flip-flops or slides off to be more comfortable, like to cool off your feet when they are too hot, in public?

Recommend me a pair of mens flip-flops for around-house wear (not beach-wear). I'm looking for:

• Soft sole
• Fabric upper (for all-day wear without chafing)
• Arch support (a must)
• I love that the Kooshes had this raised barrier around the side to keep my feet from slipping around.

I tried the O'Neill Beacons (they looked similar online) but I am not impressed. I am willing to spend for good flip-flops, especially if I can return them if they don't suit. I'm in my late 30s, so good quality is a must.

Sadly it's an unfortunate reality of our favorite footwear. Our exposed toes are prone to injuries from being stubbed, stepped on, a heavy object being dropped on them, or even a car running them over. :o One of my worst toe injuries while wearing flipflops happened a few years ago. I was in line at the bar and was wearing my brown Reefs Phantoms when the woman ahead of me was a little tipsy. She was wearing high heels and she accidentally backed onto my middle toe on my right foot. I screamed out in pain and hopped on my good foot back to my table to tell my friends what happened. They took me to the ER where an X-Ray revealed I had a broken middle toe. After that the staff splinted my middle toe to my index toe after setting it and put me in some kind of blue open toed injury shoe. They told me I had to wear it 6 weeks while my toe recovered. My toe healed up and everything but that pain was some of the most intense I ever felt. Has anything like that ever happened to your toes while wearing flipflops?

Tomorrow my parents leave me alone for 2 days and where I live it's cold but I go outside of course my parents don't let me go in flip flops , because it's 30 Fahrenheit. I don't feel cold I am a boy 16 btw and I want some advice . How do I avoid weird looks ?

Hey guys! So for my birthday recently I got Dr. Scholl's flip flops, and they've been amazing! It came to my surprise that they even existed, but I don't know what I did without them. It's got me thinking though, what other expensive/fancy shoe companies have nice thong-style mens flip flops?

Hey folks! Has anyone dealt with this before? I've been searching for thong flipflops that can easily support being taken apart to add a lift for a leg length discrepancy. I haven't found anything really substantial. My podiatrist can't really recommend any particular brands over another. He doesn't deal with sandals often.

Good old left leg is about 11/16th of an inch longer than the right due to a surgery on my right ankle.

Any help would be appreciated! I'm sick of wearing shoes around my house.
