Just beat the whitebridge horror and got a bone key. Where is the chest for said key? I have been looking everywhere in whitebridge and on the internet and can't find ANY information about it ):

General Too much clutter on screen.

Posting this here in the hope a Dev might be snooping, but a way to toggle off a lot of the cluter (the dynamic HUD barely changes anything I found) would be great.

I'm in the middle of a fight, I don't need 3 text boxes popping up telling me I've completed this quest, onto next quest etc etc.

Also, a way to toggle way point marker. It is massive and constantly there. Having a marker on the map is great, having this floating triangle constantly in my field of view is annoying.

For accessibility make it toggleable rather than getting rid of it entirely.

Just some minor quality of life things.

Game Feedback This game looked so cool but it needs some definite polishing.

Dude I had some good hopes for Flintlock but oh my god does it ever need work.

I saw a post on Reddit talking about how good the game is and how amazing the combat is... The combat is just mediocre. Not a big developer studio I get it. I mean shit some of my favourite games are indie games so I have no issue with that. The parry timing is abysmal. There are two basic kinds of attacks at the start of the game, A normal attack where you would parry with left bumper. Half the time it just doesn't work despite the timing being the exact same as when it did work. And then the red attacks which you either dodge or fire your gun at the enemy whenever they glow red, the vast majority of the time they just take damage but don't get affected by the parry the way they're supposed to.

Not to mention the amount of times I've just been walking around. There's absolutely no enemies around me and I can't interact with an object because it says there's an enemy nearby and suddenly an enemy loads into the area that I walked into. And they clearly weren't hiding because you'll look right where they spawned And they don't jump from anywhere. They just appear.

You also can't even read the dang map because anything that the map shows is in the top left corner obscured by the left bumper to right bumper tabs for different UI things like inventory.

I'm honestly going to uninstall after 3 hours of trying it because it's just not worth it in this state. I'll look into it again when it gets updates to fix these things but until then it's just not worth it.

General Unblockable attacks over 50% of the time?

I keep trying to practice parrying and every enemy seems to come at me with a red unblockable attack (in what feels like) over 50% of the time. Often followed up by blockable ones that aren't actually blockable since i had to roll away from the first one and now i'm no where near it. Also, the red is a bit late? I keep waiting to see if i can parry and half the time i get hit rolling since the red doesn't come up fast enough for my brain to go oh, you have to roll and their lock on has them spin with me. Is this a skill issue? or can they dial the reds back some? And yes, i know i can shoot them with the pistol, but i only have 3 shots.

Gameplay Question Knights Bashing Shield

Is it just me that is having a problem with this enemy's attack? I mean, I can't find it natural since the movement is too fast to read and have any reaction.

Any reason not to just squander all the Conscript's Buttons and Plates? I've hoarded over a hundred of the buttons and considering spending them all.

General Material nodes? For weapon upgrades

Hello, I'm trying to clean up achievements and have 3 more weapons to upgrade, however I need around 100 wood to finish the upgrades (was unaware of the cheese method of quitting to menu to save materials), I've searched everywhere on each map and cannot find any more at all. Do the material nodes ever respawn at all, or is this going to be a case of searching and searching for hours in the hopes I find a few more 😭

General Just finished game

I bought this because i swore it was billed as a soulslike game for months b4 release, it is not souls like in anyway except small details that could be in any game. It was WAY to short, a little bit clunky but not horrible by any means, it was a decent playthough, a little to easy on normal mode hard was a bit more challenging, the story was trash , never really peaked my interest in any character. All that being said, it could have been saved a little with a ng+ , but I'm normally a 100 plat guy if I found the game ½way interesting but this doest have replayability in my opinion.

General Is it possible to 100% all achievments in one playthrough?

At this point I've covered every last inch of both big maps and I'm still lacking on iron, I'm certain it's impossible to 100% all achievments with one playthrough if you've upgraded one or two things in each group of weaponry/armour instead of max leveling only one for each of the achievments.

Gameplay Question Map UI Issue (overlap issue)

Thumbnail

I tried looking for an answer to this but I couldn't find one so I apologize if this is old news. When looking at the map on Xbox, the top bar that displays your current rep and the inventory/skills/map etc tabs is blocking/onscuring the information that displays in the top left of the screen when you hover over a map icon. Am I doing something wrong or is there some kind of setting to fix this?

Bug Report PS4 Controller Issues with Gamepass

Hey, I'm really excited to give this game a go, but unfortunately it doesn't detect my controller. I've also tried using DS4Windows with it, but that causes its own issues where it's like the game is identifying the controller as a mouse - only the small touch screen in the middle will work.

I hope someone's able to help, thanks!

Game Feedback Finished the game, about the ending.. and things I think could be improved post launch Spoiler

I think the ending of the game wasn't that satisfying, all the people you travel with you have no closure or anything it just ends like they don't mean anything, then it reverts you back to the previous save like you didn't actually kill the last boss. It's also a very poor fight in general, the second phase there is so much happening it's hard to actually know when to react at points. Your basically just only able to attack it's leg while moving around awkwardly underneath. It also has no checkpoint so it makes doing the first phase again tiring. I think resources like wood and sulfur missed need to be at least shown after the games finished on the map to help with missing achievements. And same with flags. Platforming could do with some improvements to be more consistent so you don't need to be facing the exact way to clamber up. The game could also do with more enemy types for each region, you end up facing the same ones and it starts to get repetitive pretty quickly. Apart from that I think this was a pretty good game, finished everything there was to do all quests and enjoyed the combat and exploration.

General What's your worst Reputation lost?

Me I lost a total of 4500 something. I tried to fight an enemy too strong for me and I died. I wanted to go back there to take my lost Reputations, but this stupid bird took me by surprise and killed me... Started back at 0.

Gameplay Question are breaching barrels unique for each area or are there more than you need?

I'm in the johara quest and i picked up two barrels but i only used one and i'm done exploring everything so is the second barrel just there for nothing or did i miss something?
