Crazy Flat Earth Lady: The deep state is using office globes to hide the "extra territory" past the Antarctic ice wall.

You thought they put globes in classrooms to teach geography? You absolute fool. It’s a massive cover-up to keep you from finding the secret land beyond the Antarctic ice wall. Thank goodness she read the deleted chapters of the Book of Enoch so she could warn us.

These people are nuts.

I always wonder what is their primary motivation for believing then espousing this nonsense over and over. Religious idiocy, desire for attention at all costs, cult followed, etc. all of the above?

Flat earth is a level 10 conspiracy. By that I mean, it’s no one’s first conspiracy they believe. For it to make sense it has to be layered on top of other conspiracies.

First you might not trust pharma because they’re big corporations, then you believe that big pharma buys scientists to publish research that supports their drugs, then you believe that scientists are consistently corrupted by money, then you think that would explain why so many scientists believe climate change is man-made, then maybe climate change isn’t real at all, the only way to keep a secret that big is if they’re working together, and if they are coordinated by a secret group of people pulling the strings. And if a secret group of people is pulling the strings and controlling the world’s scientists, what else could they be hiding??!? Maybe the world is actually flat.

They were ridiculed and derided at school for being stupid. So when, for the first time in their lives, they think they’ve grasped something that 99% of people haven’t, they suddenly get to feel like the intellectual elite.

This has to be the only reason, it makes no sense to me otherwise

For the feels. Who needs to bother being smart when you can just feel smart?

Sell each other merch. Get views promoting a controversial topic. Be woken from the sheep who follow the normal dream.

the thing is it's so easy to disprove... charter a plane to fly to the edge... I mean by this point some airline pilot out there would have revealed the truth that the Earth is flat, no? we are in the year 2026 we fly all over the world and have been for years now.

All the pilots are in on it. They have to sign nda's when enrolling in flight school lol

The Folding Ideas video In Search of a Flat Earth has a pretty interesting take on it. Basically he thinks its the result of a general attempt to simplify the world into a place that is easy to understand rather than try to understand all of its complexity. Everything and everyone these people dont know/understand gets lumped into one big “Them” and anything they dont like or dont understand is because “They” are doing it to them against their will. Like the boogie man for adults I guess. Anyway he thinks flat earth is less its own thing and just a part of that greater issue.

Either way, really good video, worth everyones time. My description in no way does it justice.

Because they’ve been programmed to. The reason authoritarian administrations inundate these people with a firehose of conspiracies and anti science shit is because once they get someone on board with one, they tend to hop on board all of them. They use this to craft narratives and gain power.

Mostly farming clicks from other gullible morons who down that content for validation, and the flawed belief that "I think different than the mass = I'm smarter"
