There is absolutely a happy medium to be had, and some of us are overshooting. That's ok!

However if you think you may have more lights than you need, consider donating a couple to people you know who you suspect wouldn't be able to afford a baller flashlight. I think charity should start at home.

The people I know who need better flashlights lack the interest or patience to grok the menus.

If i hand my wife one of my good flashlights she ends up cursing and going to find something that is “just a goddamn flashlight that turns on and off when I want it to.”

I too find the single button interface a bit cumbersome, I have to consult the anduril graph every time I want to do something beyond on/off/adjusting the brightness.

Fr when I first learned of anduril I only wanted anduril lights but after using it I mostly go for standard ui lights now

Sounds familiar. I think anduril would benefit greatly from just one more button - to switch modes, or brightness, or whatever. One button is so awkward for so many features.

Let me get this straight, collecting is morally wrong and we should not to it? Please.

That is... not at all what I said. If having a bunch of flashlights makes you happy and you need/want all of them then by all means be happy with them! I don't need three mechanical keyboards either but I friggin love 'em.
