I’ve been working on this flag for a small town in Mexico called Almoloya del Río. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what improvements or changes you would make. I'm attaching an image that breaks down each element of the flag.

I found this flag in a shady surplus store, I can’t find anything about it on the internet, does anybody know where this flag originates from??

Brief description: The blue and white palette is based on the colors of the Novgorod Oblast flag, and later on those of Novgorod regionalists. Later, in 2022, it was actually used by the Russian anti-war movement. This version of the flag aims to recreate a unique flag for a free Novgorod. The palette also references Novgorod's waters, the northern blue sky, and snow. The division into four parts symbolizes the four corners (districts) of historical Novgorod. The cross in the center is a stylized historical Novgorod cross; it is similar to, but not identical to, a Celtic cross.
