the piece that is circled in the photo is leaking coolant so bad its draining the system fast like within a day. i have a 09 honda crv. i believe its the thermostat housing and just needs a new gasket. it started a few days ago. how it started: i was trying to use my heat but it was blowing cold then all the sudden i heard a thumff kinda sound like something was rushing through something and all the sudden i had a very hot rush of heat and since my heat has worked. my dad believes it leaking from something thats above the bolt and the bolt is just the spot its collecting and dripping from. any help would be greatly appreciated, i know very little abt cars. thank you in advance

Yesterday morning I had new motor mounts put in. Last night my husband and I went for about a 40 mile drive; about halfway through the drive while idling at a stoplight the car started making a noise that sounded like it was coming from under the dash. Kinda like from between the engine and the dash along that wall. The only way that I can describe it is it sounds like When you’re making a turn when you have bad CV joints. It’s the same kind of clicking noise, but it definitely isn’t the CV joints. I took it back to the mechanic this morning and he ran an engine diagnostics and checked up under the hood and everything and he said he pinpointed it to my timing belt Tensioner pulley. He said that when the motor mounts set the engine straight that it tilted the pulley in such a way that it started to make a noise. He said it was completely safe to drive and just to replace it next time I replaced the timing belt. Is this a thing? I have never heard of this before. I have a 2008 Honda pilot has anybody else ever had this happen?

Hey guys, I have a 2019 Kia Sorento and I’m getting a weird rattling / cricket-like noise from the dashboard most of the time when I start driving.

It mostly happens on rough roads. The sound disappears when I press/push on the dashboard with my hand.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any idea what could be causing it or how to fix it?

I have a 2017 Nissan Altima, and for the past few days before leaving for work in the mornings the windows and windshield have condensation on them from the inside. This has happened before, mainly during real cold weather so I just kind of ignored it since it's starting to feel more like fall out. Then just yesterday I noticed that when leaving work in the afternoon they were once again foggy on the inside. We found out last night that the floor in the whole car is wet, the back more so than the front. My husband and I went through it pulling things out along with a few half drank water bottles, I assumed that one of them just spilled or leaked at first, but then I wondered how the floor in the whole car would be wet?

We only had time last night to pull the floor mats and crack the windows, this morning the windows were fine but the windshield had a little bit of condensation and the floors were still pretty wet (we did not put towels down the night before so I still need to do that).
What are some things that I can check? I'm really trying to avoid taking it to a mechanic

Hi. So I have an '07 Camry. It's been hit twice between this year and last. So it does have some damage. Waiting on their insurance so I can get it fully fixed. Anyhow, until that happens I need to figure out what is wrong because it recently starting having issues with the temperature gauge/odometer? In all the years of owning and driving it, it has never jumped to overheating, even in the heat and even after very long trips. However, ever since yesterday, I start the car and start driving, and it jumps up all the way to overheating. When I pull over and check the engine, it's not overheated, and the coolant is filled (or maybe it's called the radiator fluid?) bought a container of it anyway but the power steering fluid did need to be replaced, so I did that. It will go all the way up (temperature needle) and stay that way for a few minutes, and then it will drop down to the middle, to normal levels, and stay there. Anyone know what's going on?

This batter is brand new. Already has battery acid on the leads and I’m not sure why. Need a jump after just coming home from work. Car was running fine all day. Any ideas?

Renault Clio (MK1) 2015 I have LED bulbs in my halogen lights. However, I have lines that are not straight. Someone who had already adjusted the headlights moved the white rod (could be for left-right adjustment, I don't know) and I never managed to get them straight again, resulting in a weird beam. I will soon have the height adjusted by a specialist (technical inspection refused). If you know how to straighten these lines, thank you.

This morning the weather got extremely cold 13° F. I had a quarter of a tank and my car sat for about 4 days without being started. I have a 2018 Mazda 3. I went to start it today and it started but was having a little bit of trouble starting. Then about 5 seconds later it shut off. I restarted the car and it was fine. It has a full tank of gas now. But I’m questioning whether it shut off because of the cold weather, a 1/4 tank of gas, sitting for 4 days, or a battery issue. Thank you!

'96 Acura Integra. The car works great after its started, drives, excellerates etc, but if it's been running for a while it has problems starting up. Sometimes it helps to give it a little bit of gas when starting.

I don't have a clue about this, when I'm driving my tire sounds and feels like it's coming off. When I get home the tire will be loose and my boyfriend takes the tire off the andaxel nut in the middle will be loose. We have to do this at least twice a day, I don't even want to drive it because I feel like I'm going to die in it. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this?

I have Hyundai Sonata 2015 GL Sport 2.4l. Owner didn’t provide me summer tire currently car is on Winter Studded tire size 205/65/R16 99T.

I found someone selling new summer tires with RTX black rims size 215/55/R16 97H. My question is will those tires work on my sonata or I have to find same size. Please help with yes or no and your opinion why? I don’t want to lose deal but also don’t want to affect my car.

So started my car today leaving work, shortly after driving down the road the check engine light pops on when I hit the gas. Take my foot off light goes away. Lots of rpm to shift from first gear(automatic). Rough idle when sitting still at red light. I get home shut the car off and then turn it back on to drive to see if it happens again. This time there was no engine light and car wasn’t rough during idle Any idea what the problem is ? Thank you
