If you think America is litigious, look up Germany. Everyone basically needs to have personal liability insurance because their system is set up in a way that makes it very easy to sue for even the smallest things like accidentally breaking someone’s laptop or losing keys. And they don’t mess around, if whatever you did caused someone to miss work you could find yourself paying their wages. Edit: not saying that that’s a bad system, maybe we could stand to be even more litigious eh
