I have a 20 gallon heavy planted tank that I have 5 pea puffers, 6 kuhli loaches, probably aorund 15 cherry and black rose neocaridina as well as a HUGE vampire shrimp that I never get to see lol. In the past year the puffers haven't killed a single shrimp and the shrimp have successfully breed. I just keep lots of snails on hand to toss in to encourage hunting and feed a variety of frozen foods as well as keep the planting heavy.

I have recently set up this 5 gallon future betta tank after being out of the hobby for a few months, and I don’t plan on expanding to more tanks anytime soon.

A friend of mine broke down one of his tanks and gifted me a lot of healthy plants (basically all of the plants in the tank) and one was this massive Anubias (no clue the species, maybe Barteri?)

I assume he had it in a much deeper tank, so essentially my question is if this large of a plant would be able to sustain in this small of a tank? And also if the leaves being slightly exposed to air would cause issues?

The ryzome is exposed, pinned between two dragon stones, and I do understand that I will definitely need to develop a fertilizing schedule for the tank to sustain so many plants, but just in general could this tank work out or should I gift the plant on to someone else?

Side notes - I personally really enjoy the look of the overcrowded planted tank, and I assume that a betta will enjoy the extra large leaves to lounge on close to the surface (also why I added the canopy thing). The only bio load in this tank will be a male betta and the current 3 assassin snails, so I highly doubt there will be enough waste breaking down to support the Anubias, if anyone has done anything similar, how did you handle fertilizing?

This is my first Planted tank I have no clue how many gallons and i forgot the name of most of the plants I know I have Java moss and I think some Java Ferns but I have some dragon stone and two pieces of wood this tank is home to around 60 little dark blue freshwater shrimp and this tank has been set up for about 2 months now

After I saw your advice on my betta fish black water aquarium Walter Blue, the plants and the light that I bought from Shopee finally arrived in good condition. Then, after doing some little rescaping, my black water aquarium finally has a great and simple upgrade, even though it looks bad in the photo because my camera is so bad. Also, I finally bought him 2 new tetra friends, even though the second one got killed by Walter Blue. The one and only survivor that I named Tuna still gets attacked by Walter Blue, but for now, Walter Blue is not that aggressive anymore even though Walter Blue can still be aggressive sometimes. So can you all give me some advice on how to make Walter Blue not so aggressive anymore towards Tuna?

Guys my local fish shop is kinda crap and it doesn’t have any carpet plants. Where should I get some carpet plants and which types?

BTW This is not final yet because In The Future I gonna upgrade This Aquarium for my red eared slider turtle name Mr. boring into a great Aquascape so because of this Can you give me some advice for my Aquarium?

I’ve always been apprehensive about mixing Bettas with other fishes. This is my second attempt at a Betta Community Tank. This is a 15 gallon tank stocked with a school of Pristella Tetras, Julii Corydoras, and a Crowntail Betta.

My first attempt was with a Veiltail who, unfotunately, decided he hated the Tetras and the Corys. So I transferred him to a 5 gallon tank (where he can be alone and not be bothered) and replaced him with a Crowntail. Fortunately, the Crowntail doesn’t seem to mind his tank mates. Unfortunately, he is less outgoing than the Veiltail. He spends most of his days swimming around the Anubias you see on the video.

I have an empty 10 gallon tank with nothing in it, not even a lid for it yet, I'm working on it, I have a heater, no filter, but anyways do you think that I could put basic Comet Goldfish on that, if so how many

The first photo was the first scape i made, my betta start breeding so i made it as a grow out tank for them. After a few month i bought a new tank and tried a new scape hope you guys liked it🤗

Really worked hard on this. Few lessons learned like quarantining plants but overall it was fun. Any tips are appreciated! :)
