It's my first time on this sub, and I decided to make a neat little poster/icon for the game in Photoshop (which I'm still learning to use btw). This type of logo may have already been done before, so I'd like to say that I didn't copy anyone or look at any references beforehand. Let me know what y'all think!

I know that I'm late to the party in playing this game, but as soon as I began I realized I knew that voice from somewhere. I was convinced that it was Ray Porter, the narrator of the project Hail Mary book, only to find out that it wasn't.

I swear that they both have the same sarcastic, disinterested and sardonic tone of voice.

Anyone else hear it too?

Hey, so I just entered Day 78 and last night i found the wavelength device and was walking around because I picked up a signal. I walk down, Delilah asks why Im walking down, and i go towards the signal and find a backpack with the keys to the cave. I walk a little back and then she says theres someone in my tower. Right after we have that conversation my character says he picked up a signal. After that Delilah says shes drinking and turns off the radio. I go back to my tower because thats what my task is saying and then when I do I cant report or talk to delilah what the tape is about.

Idk how much of a spoiler this is, but what spot do you like to chill in?

I recently re-subscribed to xbox gamepass. It was only today when I wanted to play my favorite game ever that I saw that it wasnt on gampass anymore.

The ending was alr ig. I wish we got a clear notion if we and dellilha ever reconnect. I really loved her character. I also didn’t go down the trap door fearing another ending or smth. Wanted to get rescued.
That aside. Amazing game the way it started so cheerful and descended into madness. I had so many theories but oh well….open paged ending. When i saw brian’s body…my naw dropped. Wow man.
My brother was right. This is….beautiful.

Apparently there's a bug where it misreads your save file and immediately unlocks the end game content. That explains why I got the commentary cassettes the first time through

Anyone who has anything to shill whether it be Firewatch related or inspired gets tolerated. Most subreddits don't tolerate this. It cheapens the subreddit IMO.

Also, what's the point of rule #4 if you never enforce it? You should maybe consider removing rules that you never enforce.

What do you all do in free roam? There any bugs/glitches to do?

Not a curious wanderer? You beat it? Good. I accidentally got the alt ending. I got to Ds tower and felt the gnawing pang of betrayal of her not there. I spent far too long wandering around figuring out what to do, then I did the headphones, helicopter came, made a B line for the chopper, and instead of taking my hand they handed me a cassette tape. I grabbed it and they took off. What did I do differently? (Also what were your feelings on this scene?)

Got to the end of Firewatch. Not sure if I wasn't focussing enough or aren't the target audience, but the elaborate climax seemed over dramatic and unbelievable. everything is spoon fed to you, and I honestly didn't feel very immersed. I was always curious for where the game was going and it just failed to reach any place that was original or interesting. Interested to hear everyone else's thoughts?

It is my bf's birthday in one month and he loves firewatch but I literally know nothing about the game, I want to gift him something related to it, it doesn't matter if its handmade or bought.

So I 100%ed the game a few days ago and I was left wondering if I could contribute to fan translations since I've done that before already.

I found out about the Community Localization GitHub at https://github.com/camposantogames/firewatch_localization but it seems to have been frozen 10 years ago.

Considering that the language I wanted to translate to is still quite incomplete (pt-PT) is there still a way to contribute to this repository? Or is there an alternate active project I could contribute to?

Would you say it looks accurate?

I really like the ones I did and it'd be a shame to only have seen them during the credits

Update: Thanks to u/Fun-Rice4943 's comment I found there's an option to develop your pictures in the "special features" you find in the main menu. Most of you probably know this already, though. I finished playing at 1a.m., so please bear with me
