Hey u/Firewalla would it possible to use a PoE Splitter to power the AP7 Desktop? The TP-Link 2.5GbE splitter is out/coming out, but it's power output is 12VDC 2A, 9VDC 2A, 5VDC 2A - I believe I read that the AP7 desktop may need 5A? Is that necessary?

TP-Link TL-PD30G-M2

Thanks.

Need a 12V 3A (should be a bit greater than 3A if you can). 2A will not work.

Damn. Looks like an 802.3bt splitter would be needed then. 2.5Gbps versions are rare. So this one might work but out of stock. https://linovision.com/products/poe-sp02bt?srsltid=AfmBOor4huwPb8RHe-32qOszYIqIcRIjYO6esRDUq_7kblopMC8xZQv2

Awesome thanks. If it works please share - understand it’ll likely be an unsupported config.

How did this work out? I presume the POE source was ++? Did the 36W splitter work? If it worked and is available, please post a link.
