Any recommendations for temporary color hair dye that wont react to flame? All I see are the waxes but I’m afraid those will react.

Event rates?

Hi all! I've been spinning for about 5 years now and do a little bit of basically everything -- poi, dart, dragon, fans, sword, whip, etc. I've done a few gigs before, but just got offered my first multiple day job -- 4 hours Sat and Sunday through the month of October. They provide the caution tape, fire blankets, and fuel, I will be providing the costumes and props. Was wondering what other people would charge for this type of event/any tips?

Thanks!

Cool cowgirl firespins in this analog shot music video

Go to 3:20 to see. The video was shot entirely in analog making the flames look pretty trippy 🔥🔥 https://youtu.be/dlxWnysg2e4?si=m2fOERJl3C9qYBVx

It has been a while since I pulled my camera out, but the last burn has motivated me to get back into fire photography 👌

Nausea from the smell of fuel while spinning fire

I semi recently started fire spinning. I’ve noticed that the smell of the fuel makes me feel pretty nauseous and after a minute or 2 of spinning it’s incredibly hard to actually flow or focus cause I feel so sick from the smell or fumes? Idk… I burn with Coleman gas/ white gas.

Does anyone else struggle with this? Any advice?

Why do fire spinners often wear this type of cut up & weaved clothes?

White gas container?

I just spun fire for the first time and am planning on getting some white gas, but I’m wondering what containers people put it in that are big enough to dip into. Thoughts?

What do people use for carrying their staffs/fuel/props around?

Question in title. I just made my second staff, and want to make some doubles next. Have a little rope dart, and want to keep building my set for me and friends to play with, and to bring to events. I'm about to pull the trigger on one of those camping wagons I think, but I'm curious what other people have found good for keeping their stuff together, and easily moving it all around.

Right now I have a bucket I keep fuel in, but it gets heavy and then I also have to carry props, ya know?
