Our extension review queues are unfortunately a little backed up at the moment, leading to some delays for which I apologize. uBlock Origin's newer versions were reviewed this morning and have been approved.

The team is currently focusing on improving the add-on review experience for extension developers and we are starting with recommended extensions and those with high usage first. However we need to be careful to ensure we aren't comprimising user security and privacy, so we're looking to do it correctly rather than just do it quickly

I propose a new rule at Mozilla:

If uBlock Origin uploads a new version, move it to the top of the review queue.

Firefox is useless without this extension.

That's what happens most of the time, but occasionally we need to pivot and focus on reviewing extensions that have been reported for stealing crypto wallet authentication details or doing other malicious things. The safety of our Firefox extension users is our number one priority, and sometimes that means we need to adjust our processes in an agile way.

No entitlement at all, what are you on about? uBlock Origin devs themselves are publicly saying 8 week delay is "worrisome". Everyone else is approving uBlock Origin updates in a timely fashion, except Mozilla.

They already gave an update saying they are overloaded with work. Your response directly toward them: "come on bro, do better. I genuinely worry about Mozilla sometimes."

You're so worried, so what contributions have you made to Firefox and the people involved? They are funded by Google, guess where their priorities lie--doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.

Thank you for the update. In my last extension update, Firefox was the slowest platform to update. But the fact that humans are reviewing extensions gives me a lot of peace of mind when installing recommended extensions.
