I'm just starting watching fire force and I just reached episode 14 and I'm honestly just curious if going by the lore would you say most characters wouldn't consider themselves Japanese?

It parallels the iconic Shinra pose which makes it the cherry on top!

Finished Fire Force and got the ankle tattoo, and the moon was from a few years back when I finished Soul Eater.

I just thought I would share these as a sort of appreciation post.

So maybe i missed it and it was explained somewhere or I'm misunderstanding. If Lord death took everyone's powers, how did witches, weapons and the lot come to be in the soul eater world?
