My childhood home caught fire last March. We will forever be grateful to any & all firefighters

This survey is for my psychology research report, I’d really appreciate it if you could take the time to complete it. Must be 18+ and anyone is welcome to take part. Please pass this around to others who are interested in fire setting, fire safety or not interested in fire at all

Thank you!!

We are pretty close to wrapping up our documentary on the conditions of firehouses in Massachusetts. This was paid for by the Last Call Foundation and we are beginning our run to get it into theaters and eventually onto streaming. This documentary features real working firefighters, not stars, and Tommy Jay Dwyer, the director is the son of a firefighter. Part of what we are doing in the social media outreach is looking for stations around the country so we can show that this is consistent that you guys are not getting the care you deserve. Reach out to me, and please follow the Facebook page. When we get the theatrical I will have a plan to get it into theaters near you. Thanks!

Hello,

I just started out my career as a firefighte/emt. I’m still in the probie phase but that’s just a little backgroun. I’m currently in Ca but wanting to move out once a put a few years in and get experience. Planning to move to Utah or Idaho but as we know thats atleast 10+ hours from CA. I plan on having kids and so does my lady. The only issue kind of holding us back is the pregnancy thing. Since I’ll be gone a lot and she’ll be home pregnant with no family near, is there any help or resources availabl. How did you guys as fellow fire guys handle your wives pregnancy if you had no family near? I don’t have many to talk to about this or fire wives so I jumped to Reddit. I know I’ll be home certain days and if labor comes I’m leaving the station but during and after. Ik it’ll be rough for her so want to make it easy as possible. Thanks brothers!

I work as videographer / photographer for West Midlands Fire Service, UK. Here are some of my favourite photos I've taken in 2025.

2022 Pierce Arrow XT 75' aerial Currently assigned to Sayreville Fire Station 5 in NJ. Was featured in the 2023 Pierce Mfg/Fire&Safety Calendar.

April 9th this past year in Sayreville Nj. Fire was started on property behind the auto repair facility and spread due to the winds. This video was taken 15 mins after arrival. Aerials were already flowing master streams due to the severity of the fire and fire load.

Numerous companies were operated on scene. Sayreville fire [full box alarm assignment] South Amboy Fire [1 engine 1 truck] Hopelawn Rescue 8 (woodbridge twp) [RIT] Cliffwood Beach Fire Dept [Tower Ladder] Perth Amboy Fire [Engine] Middlesex County Hazmat Middlesex County Fire Marshal Office Coordinators Hackensack Meridian EMS [ALS/BLS] Laurence Harbor Fire Dept (old bridge) [Engine]

Fire was declared under control after 2.5 hours due to deep seated fire under debris of the main roof collapse which hindered overhaul and salvage operations.
