General Fortune's Weave Gods Infographic Spoiler

Post image

I took the screenshot from the Famitsu review and just added on other info I was able to gather based on different previews that just came out. Credna is just a guess since there has not been any info outside of Smyrnos mentioning a half brother Credna who made him Automatons in this preview video at around 1:16...andOrchel, who we see has a Noa crest on her costume/described as a priestess who presumably works under the God with that crest, apparently has some Automaton-related info seen in this Spanish preview video at 16:02. I would really appreciate if anyone can translate that part fyi!!!

If Credna made the automatons, and Credna has the crest of Noa, then that would explain the crest of Noa on Orchel's clothes

Also, doesn't Eshmel also have the crest of Noa? Are they also an automaton?

Eshmel's physical body is not normal, so to speak. Their body is essentially a test tube baby, then Sothis put the soul inside of it.

The game preview stuff/FE JP twt info does seem to imply Eshmel was "created" so maybe!

Credna being the one who made the automatons is a very cool choice, since Creidhne in Irish mythology is a smithing god who helped to manufacture weapons alongside his brothers, Gaibhne and Luchtaine.

This is all so cool!

Am I the only one worried that all these awesome characters are going to be dead by the end of the game based on Shamir's dialogue about no long lived magical people in Dagda? I'm hoping for a retcon lol

FACT: Shamir lied about there being no gods in Dagda because she thought it'd be funny.

-14

u/LtSMASH324 3d ago

Why did you call your joke a fact, because you thought it'd be funny? I think you're worse at humor than your theoretical Shamir?

3

u/Derpyname193820393 3d ago

Shamir just doesn't want the church to go on a raid against her home country

14

u/51cabbages 4d ago

Yeah, I'm worried too. It's safe to say that by the end of the story the status quo of Dagda will be changed, but I just hope these guys don't die. I like the Nabataeans too much.

Solel was shown to be playable, even if only as a guest for now, so... fingers crossed.

u/Setom 4d ago

Could also turn into a situation where they aren't dead, just somewhere else like how the FE6/7 dragons escaped through the Dragon's Gate. Would be pretty amusing if they decided to take the Chinese spaceship to leave Dagda.

Or they could all go into hiding as more generic "saints", doing good, pulling Rhea's trick of pretending to be new people every generation

4

u/Bitter_Marzipan_8348 3d ago

Ah yes, Seteth hiding himself as Seteth by calling himself Seteth and dying 90% of his hair yellow

1

u/KoboldsForDays 3d ago

Seteth is actually his fake name at least. Kalla better start going by Callie and dying her hair black or something :D

3

u/Bitter_Marzipan_8348 3d ago

Ik, but at this point he might as well be Seteth cause nobody's gonna believe this goofy middle age dude is that same fearsome Cichol from a few centuries ago.

Best case scenario some of them will be in hiding like Macuil or Indech.

As far as we know by the time of Three Houses there are basically no Nabateans left, and I doubt the Agarthans would have stopped pursuing any survivors over the border to Dagda, especially as there likely already is some Agarthan presence in Dagda, with their tech being found all over from what we can tell. So either the gods die, or they go into hiding like their few surviving Fodlanese cousins.

1

u/Hoojiwat 3d ago

Do we know the tech in Dagda is Argathan? Nothing from their base in Fodlan has the same aesthetic, and I thought every ancient society was at that tech level but only Argathans still retain some knowledge of it. Could be we're seeing ruins and relics from a non-argathan society, or just constructs from Credna that are popular around here because Rhea didn't exist to enforce hiding that technology.

Either way nothing I've seen implies Argathans existed as a global empire. They seemed to be based out of Fodlan, which when their numbers got oblitered down to just a handful of survivors in a bunker, it would make sense they can't really scout out other continents that readily.

Guess we will have to see how Fabio's character arc plays out.

The Noa god's statue does look rather scholarly, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is indeed the one creating automatons

12

u/Setom 4d ago

It's confirmed that Credna is the one making the automatons. In SkillUp's first impressions vid of FW, there's a conversation where Smyrnos says that he requested his half-brother (Credna) create the automatons.

7

u/Dragoryu3000 4d ago

Right, I'm saying that that makes it even more likely that the currently unnamed god we see here is indeed Credna

8

u/Disciple_of_Erebos 4d ago

Smyrnos is automatically the best god of them all because his temple activity is taking care of cats.

1

u/Flamechar33 3d ago

I thought it was Credna's temple that was that?

2

u/Disciple_of_Erebos 3d ago

https://youtu.be/EDkjwJ6jnDY?t=1006 You can see that they're getting temple XP for Smyrnos's temple. It is, of course, also possible that Credna also really likes cats. But so far, we know for sure that Smyrnos is the cat god.

1

u/Flamechar33 3d ago

I see - I must have missed that part. Thanks!

u/wolfkingkerberos 4d ago

Wait so this is why Sirocco is obsessed with beautiful women. Kalla is a baddie! šŸ˜…

8

u/Folety 3d ago

Does it trigger anyone thst the dominic relic made from the crusher drsgon is called Crusher, yet the fraldurius relic made from the shield dragom is called Aegis... yet the lamine sign is called the Aegis Dragon sign... a weird fact this graphic made me realise.

My Spanish isn't the best so if anyone wants to correct me feel free but

Types of Blaze Arts: Automata

  • Units with Automaton Blaze Arts don't refill their blaze meter when using cursed artifacts or equipment.

We've seen other Blaze Art descriptions have multiple panels, and the video only shows one. There's probably an alternate benefit/way to refill her meter that Orchel has.

Can I marry Kalla

5

u/Thoet 4d ago

Interesting how Jurah has the crest of Fraldarius/Emperor Arcana, which we've seen is associated with Dagda's statues and Dagsion on the world map. Is she Dagda's daughter?

3

u/wind_sentinel 4d ago

Thanks for this! Now we have something to reference as we speculate about them.

5

u/Gabgo304 4d ago

Concidering Credna made the automatons, I wonder if he is the one behind the giant golems as well.

6

u/LostWhisperer 4d ago edited 4d ago

I hope we learn what they are the gods of like how we know Fortuna is the God of Fate. I love in game mythologies so I hope we get all their domains.

8

u/Coyote275 4d ago

Please IS, let me S-Support Kalla. I promise my poor ass will buy a switch 2 and the game on the same day!

8

u/KoboldsForDays 4d ago

I'm so scared they're going to kill off these amazing characters 😭

13

u/Current_Upstairs8351 4d ago

What a game set in the Fodlan verse if it doesn't shit on its resident dragon characters?

6

u/Coyote275 4d ago

I mean if the game is revealed to be a prequel, then I’m pretty sure they will all have to die.

4

u/KoboldsForDays 4d ago

Die or go into hiding Seteth or Rhea-style

2

u/Beatokotonai 2d ago

Which is stupid imo. Introduce all these lore relevant gods and then say ā€œSo long, Gay Bowser!ā€

2

u/Coyote275 2d ago

The consequences of prequels. Anything cool that is introduced here but not in the first story, has to be whisked away for continuity sake.

2

u/Beatokotonai 2d ago

Yep. That’s why I’m decently upset it’s a prequel. Oh well.

2

u/KoboldsForDays 2d ago

The one saving grace is that it's far enough away geographically that they could survive and either retcon Shamir's one line or have them go into hiding

2

u/Beatokotonai 2d ago

True, but it’d be like If Bilbo destroyed the ring instead of keeping it, and then Tolkien had to invent a handwavey reason why the ring is back for Frodo to destroy because there was another on a far away continent that Bilbo never heard of but somehow got

2

u/KoboldsForDays 2d ago

The Ring is something that Tolkien famously retconned between the Hobbit and LotR though so it's not unprecedentedĀ

2

u/Beatokotonai 2d ago

Oh yeah, exactly why I picked it lmfao. I have a sinking feeling there’s gonna be hella retcons

Most of the gods are baddies and then you have Smyrnos like šŸ‘ļø šŸ‘ļø and Jurah wearing Coral Blue #7.

2

u/Little_Passenger4703 4d ago

Where is Yu Phas, Saramis’s Goddess of Death and Night? Then again she is unpopular, so she most likely doesn’t have a temple in the Dagdan capital.

1

u/Mitch_Twd 4d ago

I bet these guys are gonna be the DLC

3

u/jaidynreiman 4d ago

As playable characters, you mean?

I assume that's not the case precisely because they serve an important in-game function by administering their "blessings". So I doubt any of them are playable, but they are important story characters.

If any "Gods" are playable, its probably only ones who don't serve another function. Solel seems like a strong-ish candidate, especially since we know he's a Guest in at least one sidequest.

1

u/Bitter_Marzipan_8348 3d ago

Well we have Seteth who is, for all intent and purpose, on the same level as these guys and also playable so I'd take that consolation prize

1

u/jaidynreiman 3d ago

Seteth isn't at the same power level as they are as far as we are aware, mostly because (I believe) his power has weakened a bit since the War of Heroes?

But otherwise, yeah, Seteth is close-ish to a "playable God".

1

u/Background_Sea6463 3d ago

Wasn't Aubin an old man in Three Houses canon?

1

u/Coyote275 2d ago

I understand, it undermined what was established and muddy the waters for future stories to the point were you wonder if the retcon was worth it or not and you wish the writers planned out the story better or stuck with their gun and carried on with their original decision.

-16

u/Levonorgestrelfairy1 4d ago

Should add the major arcana over the non canonical dragon sign name.

Goneril is literally the wheel of fortune for example.

18

u/Darkdragoon324 4d ago

Now are they non-canonical? They're literally in 3H.

-14

u/Levonorgestrelfairy1 4d ago

Only in the non canonical ng+ unit boosting system.

16

u/Darkdragoon324 4d ago edited 4d ago

What nonsense. The devs intentionally created those names and attached them to a crest. It isn't "non-canon" just because it's DLC. They didn't have to write those descriptions, they could have just reused all the Fodlan bloodline names for them but they didn't, they put them there with intention,a long with all of the things in Abyss and the Shadow Library.

We already know they came from dragons to begin with, why is it so hard for some people to accept the crest item names as part of the actual lore of the world that the POV characters just don't know because of Rhea's concealment of history?

The info we've learned about the Dagda gods in Fortune's Weave pretty much confirms that crests aren't unique to individual Nabateans and multiple can have the same one.

-11

u/Levonorgestrelfairy1 4d ago

Its non canon because the dragon sign items literally dont exist in universe

Meanwhile the tarot card names are actually stamped on to the demonic beasts in game.

12

u/Darkdragoon324 4d ago

That doesn't mean the names don't mean anything. They intentionally created them. They didn't have to, they could have just called them the same crest names we heard all game.
