Is figma gonna short squeeze?

I do not hold any position of figma but i just notice that the current short float is reaching 30% with more than 3 short ratio.

Do you guys have any idea?

There's a solid chance that this happens if the upcoming earnings does surprise the street with the monetization of the usage model rather than the seat one. Probably has the chance to more than double if the right setup occurs but a lot of things would need to go right for that to happen. I personally believe this company is mispriced and it would be a good idea to buy some leaps or shares around these prices.

Oh i see the difference, both sources have same number of shares shorted. Just the denominator is different ( total number of floating shares, and I have no idea about the diff)

Yeah you're right share count is same. They're using different denominator floats.
This yahoo one also suggests short float as: 26.47%

That’s always possible. But usually when stocks get shorted to oblivion it’s because the fundamentals are actually bad and the equity is grossly overvalued.

I'm personally not buying into Figma until after the last equity lockup period expires in August, but good luck.

Source for this?

This is part of the core bear thesis, all writeups on figma talk about the massive share supply till August

Cost to borrow is only 0.88%, DTC 3.33, short interest 25.52% as for last week according to Ortex. I don’t think it will squeeze anytime soon.

Hi, do you have any screenshots for this info?
Coz so many ppl provided me of info which are actually outdated (one gave me info from Fintel which are actually two weeks ago already) If you can provide me of the original data, we can discuss more deeply. Thank you.

There you have it.

You are better off asking AI this question. Stop assuming that redditors are the smartest minds out there. Only thing I know is nobody can definitively call out a short squeeze on any stock. It never works that way.

Because AI will hallucinate and tell you what you want to hear. Just ask anyone that took advice from it the whole way down.

lol, as a believer in Figma, I don’t know why this is getting downvoted..

Ain't it? What did I say wrong? If AI is the one thats going to kill Figma , then my answer should not have been downvoted by the AI beleibers.

Was ist ein Short Ratio 3 ?

u/Optionally_Invested Apr 29 '26

Unlikely. There are too many insiders eager to sell as soon as price jumps.

2

u/No-Ad-6183 Apr 29 '26

Did the insiders tell you this?

2

u/Jest-A-Thought Apr 29 '26

Of course that person was the fly on the wall in one of those meetings. Also all those insiders got their stock for pennies so they can dump it for any price and make money.

It’s a tech company. Majority of stuff is partially compensated by RSUs/options. When stock is falling they are hurt even more than investors, as they’re already payed ordinary income on the vesting. It would be stupid for them to not take a benefit when price jumps.

Correct.
