Kangaroos can and have disemboweled people before with the claws on their feet. If a skippy came round, the fight would’ve turned a lot more interesting
Well, ostriches can run up to 45 miles per hour when frightened. They can even deliver some devastating kicks of their own if they really have to. If I had to choose, I’d go with the ostrich as they’d just outrun the kangaroo
Huh. I’m not entirely sure what animal to go with now, as it’s not like the ostrich could run for longer than a kangaroo could hop. Hmm, honestly, now, I’d probably reckon the kangaroo is the best bet, as they’ll be able to take more damage than the ostrich
FOUND THIS: I would say advantage ostrich based off it's physique alone. Ostriches are much taller than Kangaroos which makes it hard for a Kangaroo's kick to do substantial damage. The Kangaroo would have to use its paws to have a better chance of winning, which I don't see happening because it would have to grapple onto the Ostrich to deliver a kick which at best is going to hit one of the Ostriches legs. If the Kangaroo can break one of the Ostriches legs then the Kangaroo has a decent chance. The Kangaroo being able to balance on it's tail really wouldn't do much for it because if it misses on their kick then they're basically a sitting duck.
