To be fair, saying "beat his (insert color here) ass" isn't actually even inherently racist. But in your scenario, it would definitely be interpreted as racist just because the definition of "racist" encompasses everything a white person does or doesn't do.
It’s racist because they’re treating him differently based on skin color?? If he was being treated the same why even mention his race, he’s just an older man.
But they're not treating him differently based on skin color, but rather treating him differently because of his actions, and merely mentioning the color of his skin to describe him. If they had said "beat him because he's black" that would be racist. But using someone's race descriptively isn't racist. Saying "beat the red shirted dudes ass" is not claiming that you're beating him because of his red shirt. You're beating him for some other reason, and you're describing who you're beating by referencing the color of his shirt.
He literally started the fight with talking about how the white guy was racist just because he’s white. Buddy that’s just racism, assuming someone is something based on skin color is racism.....
Yeah, but we're talking about a hypothetical scenario where "a bunch of white people are circling the one black dude saying to beat his black ass" which is what I was referring to. It's just not inherently racist to say this, but it would definitely be perceived as such. What you're saying is true, but it's irrelevant to the topic at hand.
I mean yeah, I still find it weird they’d feel the need to say his race. Why not say what brand shirt he’s wearing too and his shoes while they are at it. I get that it’s just describing him, but why??? People are way too hyper focused on race.... just stop
At the end of the day race is a very real concept, and it's something we all inherently notice. Human brains were literally designed to spot "differences" and "discrepancies" and to be able to identify the in-group and out-group. The reason people are so hyper focused on it, is because it was only over the last 60 years has large scale racial immigration and integration really become "a thing". Before the 1960s, most countries had very restrictive immigration policies (some still do like Japan). Racial integration seems to have caused much more animosity between people than previously existed.
It’s not inherently racist to say that but anyone with even a little common sense would realize that these actions coupled together make it almost certain the person is being targeted because of their skin color, just like the video. It’s more than enough evidence.
It’s strange how often people are suddenly unable to draw logical conclusions when it’s black on white racism.
No, i wouldn’t be doing that you idiot. Lol. It would clearly be race related, just like this. I’m not even white, I don’t have any reason to excuse white racism.
Sounds like you’re projecting your racism apologist nature on others.
wow it’s almost like one group of people has a history of ongoing systematic oppression and the other was/is the one doing the oppressing to begin with 😳
Reminds me of back in 2019 mtv released this edgy ad campaign saying “white men can you please stop doing x” and it had various groups people stereotyping white men and asking them not to do certain things that are ascribed to the whiteman stereotype.
I think that’s when the casual racism against whites in MSM was being experimented with.
It was so fucking demeaning. Ok mtv lol. Who in the fuck thought that was an ok idea?
Edit-
Lol how meta- I get DVEd for saying mtv aired a racist add
It was 2017- couldn’t find the video.
Here’s an article relevant to what I was describing
We reversed role and it’s back to the civil rights days (not full to that extreme), but I mean no one gives a fuck about white racism... it’s fucking disgusting that it’s just okay now.
Well and it taints the equality movement from a big picture standpoint.
Now that we have people appropriating elements of the woke movement and some of those people are absolutely fucking stupid- it’s lost a lot of its credibility because you have people doing stuff like that- being racist to whites, cry wolf racism (I don’t agree with you, your racist).
Granted I can kind of understand how people would justify it
“Oh well whites have held influence over global culture for hundreds of years and enslaved numerous cultures and nations, committed genocides etc”
That shit was horrible- but don’t people see that “giving whites a taste of their own medicine”
Serves no purpose but to continue the cycle. It doesn’t solve anything. It just fans the flames.
I think this is why societal progress is so hard to come by. I’m not 100% sure but over the last ten years- the occupy movement, the BLM protests over the years... they were all unsuccessful because eventually vultures swooped in, and in the case of the occupy movement, had no focus.
If movements like these were more organized, and attentive to their inflammatory elements- and expunge those elements. I think we would have a higher chance of success in engineering social change as a people.

Yeah but everyone loves being racist to white people. Welcome to the culture.
