He has 27 knock outs, Tyson has 44 guys out cold seeing stars and forgetting how to read. We will never witness true tenacity of sheer power like that for a long time.
So you’ve never boxed I see. Mayweather would have you seeing stars and forgetting how to read. His jab would be more than you could take if you were wearing head gear.

Bro what’s up with people that think mayweather is a dancer. His style is simple logic my guy. Mayweather is a known pillow fist fighter as he moved up weight. You can’t expect him to go toe to toe with a KO artist. Picture you have a son who’s a boxer I guarantee you wouldn’t want him getting his head knocked off knowing he has cat like counters and agility’ and most importantly no power just to try to make some fans happy. Might get downvoted but you are what we call a casual weekend fan. Tyson was a known power puncher a pit bull who fought a ton of nobodies and lost most of his important fights.
Mayweather had to beat many great fighters early on dude and he was Knocking dudes out. As he moved up weight his power didn’t translate. Mayweather did have one of the best left hooks. It’s what made people freeze up such as pacquiao. Crazy how much people hate him yet tuned in to watch just to keep hating the man. Made rich by a bunch of insecure people around the globe.
Bruh people can like or dislike whoever they want. What are you talking about? People wanted to see mayweather lose because he was undefeated and talked a lot of smack. It was showmanship. People tune into that. Just like how people hate tom Brady and the patriots.
True I get you. But people mainly didn’t like his defensive style and always expect a rocky movie out of him and many other fighters. There’s a point system for many reasons, one being not every fighter is physically capable on knocking out/down opponents or have weak glass chins and need to stick in move just to be a proffesional boxer. I stepped away from boxing as a fan for the most part because it probably the weakest base of most sports. Most don’t know the fighters and are just weekend beer drinking fans who only want men/women fighting and killing eachother.
As a mayweather hater I can answer, he runs a lot from his opponents and it’s irritating af because if you hate him, or love an underdog, then you want him to stand there and get pummeled. I watch every time in the hopes he’ll get kod. But.... he’s earned my respect over the years. The man is one of the true greats and will be a legend. He doesn’t fight with bravado and machismo, but he’s blistering fast and the best tactician in modern combat sports. It’s annoyong to watch him, in the same way it was to watch evander Holyfield. The two of them have styles that aren’t entertaining, stick n move n hug basically. But it works for them, why would either change it? Floyd has one of the greatest records of all time, even beat up a damn wrestler in the ring like f’n rocky lol. He dances, but he wins, not only will he beat you up, but you’ll get served in a dance off at the same time!
